Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

It was just a boring night in Metropolis, when Kara decided to sneak away from home to see what the city was like at night. Kara had seen the town during the day due to school and the weekend crime fights with her cousin but mostly Kara just wanted to see what it was like as the normal teenage girl she wanted to be. She put on her Supergirl uniform on under her sweet new outfit which consisted of cute blue jeans with a pink shirt that showed off her sweet body. Kara put her blonde hair in a ponytail and flew out of the house without waking anyone. Kara landed in the heart of Metropolis and began to walk around looking at the night life. Kara couldn't believe her eyes. All the city’s lights danced across the sidewalks and the streets. Kara pulled out her iPod and put the headphones in. The teen turned on her new songs and began to lip sing along. Soon enough Kara was lightly swaying to the music not caring if she looked weird. The point is that she was having fun. Kara walked up to a store that was full of….pets. The confused alien teenager looked at these fluffy puffy animals and stared at them with all her thoughts she was trying to figure out what they were. On her home planet she never saw such things. They had other types of living creatures but not the type in the window. Kara let out a sigh and wished that she had a friend to help her out.

it's always do this, do that * everything they want to * Metropolis, one of the many cities that had seemingly overnight risen out of nowhere from a dimension that no one really expected to exist. Now though it had become a golden rod that rose from the green fields of farms around it. Just like Gotham, it had become a lot like New York in that it was now a thriving city with many centralized commerce centers in it. Of course though, with this came things that brought evil. This was why Michael was here, he had tracked down a leader of an interstate gang here which was linked to the battle he had broken up with that woman who seemed to be known as Wonder Women. This wasn’t his territory he knew. This wasn’t where he belonged, but he needed to track this man down, he was going to stop this gang and then finish off all its splinter cells, it all started with this though.
So here he was, riding his Harley through Metropolis, stuck in traffic at what he could only guess was around nine at night. He had ridden all day to get to the city, but had taken enough caffeine shots that he would be up for a while. The only issue he had was that he was freaking hungry and from what he could tell there seemed to be a lot of places here that had good food. He needed to hang in the city for a while, get information and put his name out there before he made a move. For now he found a brake in the traffic and moved to a parking lot where he parked his bike and stepped off it. He adjusted the leather jacket he wore, draped over a band shirt that led down to a pair of beat up jeans and leather boots. As always he never wore the clothes that showed off the riches he had, he never would. The only thing on him that was really expensive was the iron nail Martyrs cross that was around his neck by a leather cord. The only reason it was the most pricey was that Michael had made it himself, creating the nails by his hands and fusing them together.
Michael moved from his bike and out into the street, his hands slid into his pockets and his stride casual. He let his eyes drift here and there, looking for a place to eat and checking out the people who walked the streets. They all seemed in gleeful moods and laughed and walked around drunk on life and probably alcohol to. Yet He had heard that these people weren’t used to mutants, they hadn’t had that kind of thing in their reality so he couldn’t exactly go into an alleyway and appear in a diner or something. He really did not need that kind of publicity to deal with. These people already probably were skittish of the idea of his kind, he could only imagine…..
Before his mind could even finish the thought he found his eyes stop on a blond looking at a window full of puppies. Her face seemed screwed up in a confused look, like she couldn’t figure out what they were. It was an odd kind of thing to him, but everyone else around them seemed to just walk by. Maybe they were worried to ask her, afraid this attractive blond might have a screw loose or something, he had seen weirder recently. Yet he decided to take a chance and see what trouble he was about to step into.
“Like the pups?”

Kara took her eyes away from the animals in the window and looked at the unfamiliar voice. She looked at the human and could tell he wasn't like the rest of the normal people walking about. She used her X-Ray vision to see if this new person was dangerous but it seemed the iron nail cross messed with her vision. Kara blinked a couple times then looked back at him. Kara thought hard about if she should or should not to respond. It seemed to her that being he was the only one to talk to her that maybe he was an alien too, who has been on earth longer then her. So with that in mind Kara let the soft words flow from her mouth.
“Pups, What are pups?” Kara looked back at the animals in the window, and smiled a bit. “Are these pups?”
She looked back at the strange boy and wondered why he had made an effort to talk to her. She took in his street clothes and noticed how he smelled of a gas vehicle. Kara noticed that she was staring at him and how her cousin told her it was rude to stair. She quickly took her gaze away from him and stared at his shoes instead.
“You’re not like the other people in this city. You must be from out of town.” Kara’s voice was simply hiding the fact that she was still unsure about the animals and there wet noses pushing against the window trying to get their attention

it's always do this, do that * everything they want to * Michael watched as the girl looked at him confused and asked if what was in the window were pups. Was she being sarcastic? Or was this girl being serious? that wasn’t possible was it?
“Umm, yeah, those are pups. Most people in this country call them puppies….but that word does work with my accent.” Trying to say ‘puppies’ sounded weird with how his words came out of his mouth. The word even tasted weird, he could never use it because of how it felt, so many words were like that here and he didn’t exactly know how he felt about them. Yet none of this was as odd to him as the look he was getting from the girl. She was letting her eyes move over him, staring at every feature of what he wore and how he looked. To say that he was uncomfortable wouldn’t exactly be true, no it was more that he was wondering why she seemed so innocent and ignorant to cultural taboos. Such as not knowing what the heck a pup was or checking him out while he was watching.
Soon though she seemed to realize that he was noticing and decided that his shoes were more interesting before saying…. “You’re not like the other people in this city. You must be from out of town.”
Michael laughed, giving his wicked smirk and shaking his head. “Is it my accent, or do I look that much like a sore thumb in this city? I don’t mean to be. But yes I am. I’m actually from Australia, but I live in New York right now.” He held out his hand to the girl pleasantly.
“My name is Michael Mullenix.”

Kara smiled. The name puppies was cute, Kara looked at Michael. Was what she said consisted bad? She had to find a way to fix it. “No its just um well people don’t notice me and you did not everyone is nice here they just go along with business thinking I’m just some stupid blonde.” Kara looked at his hand with confusion, what was he doing, was he trying to show her his hand or something. “And I’m Kara Kent I’m not from around here either. I’m living with my cousin Clark.” Kara took her eyes away from his hand and looked at him. “What are you doing with your hand?” Kara thought that maybe she should tell him that she was from Krypton and she was still learning the human way, but what if he just laughed at her and left, Kara wasn't about to throw away a new friendship like that. But then again if he understood where she was coming from he might help her understand the human world better. Kara began studying him again. Something about him wasn't all human either but she couldn't put her hand on it. Maybe he was just a normal human who was amused by Kara’s stupidity. “Are you a normal human?” Kara’s eyes widen in surprise did she just say that. That must have been really rude of her. Certainly she would lose her new friend. “I’m sorry I didn't mean to say that.” Kara looked at him with her light blue eyes.

Michael smiled and nodded when the girl introduced herself as Kara Kent. It was a pretty name for a very pretty girl. Though just to say she was pretty was an understatement, Kara seemed to be beautiful no matter what emotion she had at the moment. Looking at the dogs it had seemed like innocent excitement had been radiating from her in waves that had drawn him in. Even now, as she stared in confusion at his outstretched did she exude beauty.
What she asked next cleared his mind a bit. What was he doing with his hand? Did people not shake hands in this city, or in they're dimension? He couldn't see how that could be....and yet if remembered correctly a moment ago this girl had just asked what a pup was.
"lts a hand shake, most people do it when they first meet." He was starting to get a thought in his mind as he spoke, something he wouldn't have guessed normally of course, but there was something off about this girl. It wasnt just the questions or the confused looks, there was also the way she stood, her amazement at everything around her. This girl was way more different then an average person. This seemed even more evident as she began to look him over again, moving her eyes over his form like he was a science project. This seemed to progress for a bit until she bluntly asked if he were a 'normal human' then immediately went a cute shade of red and began apologizing profusely.
Michael couldnt help but chuckle at her reaction. He put his not needed hand down and looked her over a moment before answering. What he started to realize half way threw though was if he was able, he would stand there all day, lost in her beauty.
"I mean I would like to think I am but in all honesty, most would know differently. I'm a mutant."

Kara looked down at his shoes finding it easier to stare at his shoes then at his outstanding perfectly built body. She bit her lip trying to figure out what a mutant was. She had known from the Solitude’s computers that a mutant was a super human but she was still unsure of what it truly meant. Kara looked up at Michael with her baby blue eyes still full of confusion, and lightly took a step closer to him she reached up and lightly touched his cheek to see if he felt like a normal person and to her surprise he did she could feel his heart beat and the rush of blood that flowed to his cheeks because of her sudden touch. “What is a mutant? And you seem to feel human.”
Kara pulled her hand away and took a step back remembering that it was not right to touch people without their consent and looked Michael in the eyes. She couldn’t help but think about the way he felt in her hands. This new feeling inside her tummy made Kara let out a small but heard giggle. It felt like the butterflies that lived on the Kent farm were fluttering around inside her. Kara took her gaze away from his outstanding eyes and stared back at his shoes. Kara always found herself staring at his shoes when she was nerves. Kara tried to think about something else but she just kept thinking about how his skin felt. Kara knew that she would have to tell him soon that she wasn’t from this planet.

it's always do this, do that * everything they want to * Michael was shocked at first when she placed her hand against his cheek but soon found the cool hand and smooth, silky skin desirable. His face felt slightly warm from the shock and slight embarrassment, though he seemed to actually enjoy it. Where these sudden feelings had come from he didn’t know, maybe this girl really WAS more than just a confused human on the streets of Metropolis.
“What is a mutant? And you seem to feel human.” These words snapped his senses back from theyre sensory overloading from her touch. She didn’t know what a mutant was? Didn’t even people from that other dimension finally know what they were? Yes most didn’t seem to like them but didn’t the smoke from the merging finally settle yet?
When Kara had finally stepped back Michael slowly got his barings back and shook his head a moment. He wanted to say something intelligent about what mutants were, something that would help this girl understand that he wasn’t much different from her, just had God given gifts that many others had different versions of….alas all that seemed to come from his lips were…
“Food, I mean…are…umm are you hungry?”

Kara looked up from his shoes. Had this hansom cute boy just ask Kara out for dinner? She sighed and felt like it was time to tell him the truth. “Michael, I’m an alien, I’m from krypton and I’m new to these human things, I am a superhuman like superman.” Kara looked down scared he would walk away and she would no longer see the one boy she wanted to see more than anything. Kara closed her eyes and tried to hide the fact she was scared of rejection. Kara felt her tummy grumble to the sound of food. She had not eaten scene lunch and was starving. “What is that inside my tummy?” Kara said giggling to the sounds of her insides. She looked at Michael noticing he was still there. She couldn’t help but let out a smile. And soon enough Kara found herself hugging Michael. She was so glad he hadn’t left. She took in his nice smell of cologne and how he was surprised of the hug. Kara found she liked hugging him; she liked it more than hugging her friends or hugging her brother and cousin with that she just kept hugging him, until she noticed that it wasn’t right to touch him without asking. She lightly pulled herself away from the hug that she could stay in for hours and looked at him. “yes I would love to go get something to eat with you, but I’m afraid I don’t have any way of paying unless I go back to the place I’m staying at and get my five dollars.”

it's always do this, do that * everything they want to *
The sudden admittance of being an alien was a bit confusing. Was she actually nuts? No one just told some random person they were an alien, even if it was true. Yeah he had said that he was a mutant, but that was kind of like saying ‘hi I’m Michael and I’m a Christian’ it’s something that usually comes up. Then she brought up superman, that guy that he had heard was supposed to be perfect? Some big American dream psychopath if he was right?
“So you’re saying you’re a…..supergirl kind of thing?” He had seen weird in the last couple of days, but hearing this was deffinatly one of the top ones. Though what made it weirder was it actually kind of made sense. This girl really had no clue what anything really was, she had actually stared at a group of pups for what he felt was a long time trying to understand what they were. If she had had some kind of amnesia it would have manifested in ways that wouldn’t have made her forget simple things like animals and the such. Then there was what happened next. Kara seemed to giggle and mumble about her belly tickling and making noises after he had mentioned food, that was something a lot of people would actually know. So maybe she wasn’t crazy, maybe she just had a lot of inhuman innocence due to…
The thought was cut short by another form of innocence this sweet girl had….a sudden hug. Michael really didn’t know how to respond other than to smile and put a hand on the small of her back. She was beautiful, sweet and all around….well perfect. Even her innocence seemed to be perfect for her.
“Yeah, umm what sounds good to you?” He tried to sound casual, yet he felt like tonight wasn’t going to be just one of those nights.

Kara looked at him and smiled “you’re the only one who figured out my superhero name, yes I’m Supergirl the one and only girl of steel.” Kara thought it was weird that he had figured her name out maybe it was some kind of joke and he thought she was lying about being an alien girl from her home planet. She stared at his shoes unknowing if she should be glad she told him or worried she told him. Kara was very confused and starting to get a little light headed from not eating. But she wasn’t going to let some stupid human feeling get in her way of having a good night. “Yeah, umm what sounds good to you?”
His voice pulled Kara out of her stair on his shoes, she let his voice settle in to her mind and listen to the thoughts again, his voice was like a song that Kara wanted to crawl in to bed and listen to before bed, it was calm and steady. She could feel her face light up with the color red once more and she looked at him. “Michael, I don’t know what sounds good, I’ve only ate the food at the um at my uh cousins place and its cold their so we only have chips.” Kara had almost blurted out that she lived in the fortress of solitude and if someone knew that they might break in and steal from her and superman. Kara felt like she was stupid for not knowing what types of food there was in this planet but she just stopped thinking and stared Michael in his amazing melt away eyes. There was something about him that she adored.

it's always do this, do that * everything they want to * Supergirl? He hadn’t even gotten his head around all of the New York Superheroes. A lot of these Americans could do stuff that he didn’t know much about. He had remembered that Superman was Mr. Perfect and that he sometimes had some dog with him but a female version? She deffinatly was perfect looking, but he couldn’t exactly imagine her flying around currently. Most of the flying ones though weren’t exactly completely aerodynamic right? Didn’t they have like thrusters or something like Iron man? Or were rules different in their dimension before they had shown up here? That Wonder Woman broad had come out of nowhere and lifted him up like a sack of chook without even trying. Maybe…..
“Michael, I don’t know what sounds good, I’ve only ate the food at the um at my uh cousins place and its cold their so we only have chips.” Her cousins place? Okay now he was really getting confused. She was either crazy or actually who she said she was, but this whole cousin thing made him lean towards crazy hot chick. The least he could do though was take her to get something to eat. She seemed to be a bit hungry, and even if she was crazy she was deffinatly not the kind that was going to whip out a gun and shoot down a diner, she seemed to innocent.
“How about this, I saw a diner a couple blocks from here, We go grab a burger and you explain to me what your talking about.”

“Ok cool I’d like to tell someone about me” Kara smiled and began to follow him. Kara started out walking but she could feel that light headed feeling get worse, Kara began floating along with him instead. “Michael, I don’t feel too good.” Kara wasn’t getting light headed she was getting weak. Her skin was starting to gray and dim in color. She could feel the power get weak. She reached for Michael as she began to fall down. The world was spinning and Kara was really scared. She could feel death crawling its dark evil hands pulling her soul away from her ever living body. She could see Michael standing over her. She tried to find the words but nothing would come out. She tried to tell him to not leave her and that she was really scared. Kara felt the world blacken and saw what she thought was her parents.
What Kara didn’t know was that she had stepped on a green gem at school and that’s why she was feeling this way, the only reason the kryptonite gem wasn’t killing her sooner was because of the fact Kara took more time to react now if it was red solar radiation Kara would have been dead in a matter of minutes. The small green gem was glowing and stuck on her shoe. Kara was dyeing and she didn’t understand why. All Kara hoped for was that Michael would save her and she wouldn’t die. Was this the end for the blonde haired superhuman.

it's always do this, do that * everything they want to * Michael watched the transformation with confusion at first. The girl was floating in midair beside him like she did it every day. That made her less crazy in his eyes yes but still it was a lot to take in all at once. This girl didn’t know much about tact apparently because of…well whatever you could call the situation she seemed to find herself. What came next though shocked him.
Gradually as they walked Kara’s body seemed to dim, her skin turning a grey color and her face starting to slacken. He caught her as she fell and started looking around frantically. He had no clue what to do really. This wasn’t he spot of expertise; he was going to school to be a teacher, not medical. Not only that but apparently she wasn’t even completely human. How exactly was he supposed to help her? Things started to get worse, her eyes rolling into the back of her head and her body becoming that of those who are dead. Michael was terrified and confused. He called out to people around him, those walking down the street. Yet most of them either just stop and stood there looking confused as he was or rushed by like they wanted nothing to do with the situation.
“People, Come on!” Even yelling they seemed to just stand there. He growled furiously and looked up and down Kara’s body, trying to find the reason behind the sudden collapse of a girl so innocent and care free she had started to divulge her secrets to a random guy she met on the streets. His eyes ran up and down her, trying to find any kind of abnormality. It took so long to find it, her body was perfect, her clothes only enhancing every bit of her. He couldn’t understand, couldn’t figure out what exactly was actually causing her to…..wait…
Michaels eyes caught on a green fleck that was stuck to her shoe. It seemed to glow where it sat, as if it were growing stronger somehow. What was that? He hadn’t seen it till just now. He reached for it and pulled it off her shoe, throwing it away from them and wondering what it was…

“Come on baby girl come home.” Kara looked around for the voice but couldn’t find it. She looked down at the body that lay on the ground and sighed. “Is this my ending? I never thought I would die like this.” Kara took in her own looks how her blonde hair seemed to lay perfectly on the ground and that her skin was turning a stone color. The spirited girl took in a breath before finding what looked like the figures of her mom and her father. “Come on Kara it’s time to go.” Kara looked back at her body then at Michael. Sinestro crossed the young girls mind and she wondered how he would react to her death. Kara took a step towards her birth parents and sighed. “I don’t want to go home yet, I still have a lot to do. Like making daddy Sinestro happy and figuring out why this young boy is so handsome and why I like him.” She could hear a small voice call to her from the real world and realized it was Michael. Even thought he wasn’t physically speaking it was mentally. She watched him fling a small green kryptonite rock away from her, she began to feel the pull back in to her body.
She opened her soft baby blue eyes and looked at him. Kara was weak and couldn’t stay conches for much longer. “your….my….hero” she lifted herself high enough to press her soft lips against his lightly aiming for his cheek but missing and achieving his lips instead.
