Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
Loki, Was one for hiding in plain sight. A proverbial god amongst men. It was with ease that his normal clothing, well normal for a being from Asgard, was easily changed by just a mere though of magic. Now clad in a black suit, silken dark golden yellow tie and a dark forest green overcoat. His jet black hair smoothed back against his head, his eyes shone a most unearthly green. A bit more fitting amongst the human race then steel and cloaks. Loki chose not to cloak himself entirely to everyone. In fact Loki wanted to be found by no one in particular. It had been some time since he felt the need, nay the calling to cause some almost classic chaos. Midgard would provide the perfect board for such a game.
It was peaceful for the time being, until Loki decided just exactly what he was going to cause. A car wreak was to simple for his tastes. Though one could be of large enough size in such a place traffic would be backed up for hours. Then again It was not his taste to cause something so small anymore. He placed his hands in the pockets of the overcoat as he waited patiently for the light on the cross walk to change with the crowd around him. It was easy to just follow the example of others at this time then do what he normally does. More or less it was whatever he wished to.
The light changed on the cross walk and the crowd moved accordingly. He did as well. Loki paused for a moment, looking up at the clouds for a moment before continuing on his path to no where. A devious smile grew across his face as he gave into the small scale malicious thought crossed his mind earlier. It was as simple as a whim to cause a few cars from the oncoming traffic to plow through the rest of the crowd that was behind him. Smashing ruthlessly into the oncoming lane on the other side. A screech of moving tires across asphalt, Crunch of metal against metal, shattering glass. Screams of pedestrians, that could move out of the way. Others that could not an lost their lives or injured.
It was so easy to cause a massive disruption of chaos in Midgard. The beings that called this realm home were terribly high strung, it was nothing but a powder keg waiting for the fire to ignite it.
Though the thing that made him stand out in the crowd of frantic humans, was the fact that he was not one, nor was he running around like someone had removed his head from his shoulders. He merely continued walking. Though he could remove his own head if he wished. It was a rather useful trick.
The sun was sinking, the shadows of the tall buildings reaching out over him like lengthening claws, to snatch and swallow him up. The thought should have been comforting. He had always been at home in the shadows, in the darkness, where no one could find him. Protected. Hidden. Safe. Where he could see and not be seen, but now he could think of nothing but his cell, his prison, so thrice-cursed dark.
Nothing but black pressing in on his eyes, seeping into his mind, sinking its needle-teeth into his brain. Regardless it had not been a long time stet, it had been just enough to cause damage mentally. Enough that he could only repress it for so long before that tiny strand still holding the fibers of his already fragile controlled mind, snapped.
A tickling feeling between his shoulder blades made him whip around, was someone, no, no one was following him, just like no one had been following him the last three times he'd turned around.
The tall buildings glowed balefully in the liquid firelight of the sunset. No matter where he went, they would see. They would know. He wanted to stop feeling. He was broken, shattered, irreparable; why couldn't Thor see that? There was still some shard of him down in that dark hole, some shard of him back in Asgard, some shard of him in the void through which he fell, pieces of his soul forgotten and rotting away. Pieces that could never be replaced.
Loki pulled his collar up and walked faster—though where he was going, he had no idea. Away. Away from Thor. Away from his stupid, meddling, mule-headed dolt of a never-brother. Away from the four walls.
If he next saw Thor at the end of the world, it would be far too soon.
Something barbed, buried deep in his chest, caught on the flesh of his heart and pulled. He would have let it rip away his heart completely, if he knew how.
He wanted to stop feeling. He was broken, shattered, irreparable; why couldn't Thor see that? There was still some shard of him down in that dark hole—some shard of him back in Asgard—some shard of him in the void through which he fell—pieces of his soul forgotten and rotting away. Pieces that could never be replaced.
Every thought felt jagged, tearing at him as it passed through his mind.
you are unworthy
The thoughts that had tortured him as he plummeted between the branches of Yggdrasil, little hooks lodging in his mind, refusing to let go—they were returning, rusted but just as sharp as before.
the house of Odin is full of traitors
He ducked into the space between two buildings, leaned back against cold brick, as his breath began to grow short and rough. His fingers clenched around the lapels of his coat, drawing it tighter around himself.
no, Loki
This is Madness
He ground his teeth together, pulled at his hair, willed this to stop, please, stop, his breaths ragged and shuddering in his own ears.
The shadows grew around him, darkness creeping over him, please no no stop no—
know your place, brother, the loved ones you have betrayed
His hands came away from his scalp with blood beneath the fingernails. He could feel it trickling down the back of his neck, delicate as a lover's touch. Put his fingers in his mouth, metallic bitter against his tongue; sucked the blood from his fingers, swallowed it, a shiver of pleasure and disgust skittering down his spine.
He wanted to laugh. What came out sounded half like a sob.
What did he have left? Only his own skin. His own power. Was this really freedom? Why did it hurt so much?
He remembered the glass. How prettily it had shattered.
He looked up.
silver tongue turned to lead
His face split into a smile.
A surge of power boiled in his veins—oh, how he had missed that feeling, magic tracing blue-hot webs of energy through his nerves, his will, his strength—and a blinding flash of poison-green lit up the alleyway, lit up his fingers and his teeth and his eyes. His feet rose from the asphalt.
Loki, this is madness
“Madness,” he whispered. “So be it, then.”
Green light blasted outward from his hovering body, his shriek rending the air, every window in a hundred yards exploding into glittering shards that rained down onto the street like broken stars. The mortals gasped, screamed, stared open mouthed at the spectacle.
He stepped out of the alleyway, clad in much more familiar garb now, no longer caring what the mortals thought of the strangely-dressed man in their midst. They were nothing. Less than. It hardly mattered. Let them stare. They were weak, helpless. Not like him. Not like him at all.
He knew what he needed to do, now. What Thor should have done, when he found Loki imprisoned in the depths of the Asgard—what he would have done, surely, if not for the sickening affection he apparently felt for his mortal pets. If he hadn't been so soft.
But no matter. Loki didn't need him anymore.
He turned, the taste of his own blood still lingering on his tongue, and began to walk through the crowd of gaping mouths. As he did, he heard himself laughing, while the broken glass cracked beneath his boots.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: transparent;true] Is it safe inside my head? Songs to serenade the dead....
Every day at approximately the same time, Adrienna walked down the street. It was the same street and she could probably get to her destination even with her eyes closed now. School wasn't that far away from home and Miss Charity had to work during the day lately. She was trying school again. So far it was icky. The walk home was much more interesting.
She was supposed to ride the bus though. Shhh, don't tell anyone! She didn't like buses. Too crowded. Too smelly. The floor stuck to her shoes like old tape. People coughed. Traffic was like sardines in a can. Basically- buses were bad. Walking was good.
She hummed to herself as she walked, focusing on her feet instead of the people around. If she looked at them too long they started blending together. A sea of people aaaaaall around her. She could drown! She needed air!
Hands tightly wound around the purple straps of her school back pack (which was holding her math homework, by the way; she was especially good at math; her teacher said it "was her subject", so Adrienna decided to give it her last name: Math Eve; it was pretty), she weaved through the crowd, ever watchful of how her loose pink shoe laces flopped against the pavement.
If the city wasn't so loud, you could hear the click! of the aglets against the sidewalk. Aglets- those were the plastic thingies on the ends of your shoe laces.
[Click! Click! Click! EEEEERRRRRRTTTTT- CRASH! BOOM!]
Wait. That wasn't the sound aglets made. Adrienna turned around, facing the direction she'd just come. What was that loud noise? Were people screaming now? Was it fireworks?
Curious and excited that it might be fireworks, Adrienna began shuffling back down the sidewalk, toward the source of the excited babble of people. Only... it wasn't excited. It was panicked.
She stopped in her tracks when she saw the fiery pile up in the street. No... definitely not fireworks. Her little heart began speeding up to match her breathing as her wide eyes watched people scramble like chickens near a coop.
Then something else caught her gaze. A bright green flash from the corner of her eye. Immediately her mind jumped to this new prospect of what was sure to be fireworks. Dead set on finding the source of the fireworks that she knew had to be here somewhere, Adrienna lost all thought for the people in the car crashes.
She turned on her heel and raced back the way she'd come. But the green flash was over before she could track it. Glass shattered though. She covered her ears and squeezed her eyes shut, running away from it. Only a few shards did any damage to her: slicing her hands open, but it wasn't a pain she couldn't handle.
She'd had worse. There were lots of scars to prove it, too. Adrienna opened her eyes again and looked around. She'd lost the fireworks again. Phooey.
No, don't say that. That's a bad word, she told herself and brought a finger up to her lips to shush herself. Adrienna sighed, convinced that she'd missed the celebratory lights in the sky when she noticed something flashy ahead. It wasn't lights... but it was shiny.
She followed the shiny, skipping and weaving between legs to catch up with it. Only when she was close did she realize the shiny was actually a hat... maybe. Hat thing. It had horns. And it was on someone's head.
Wow. He was tall. He was about a billion feet taller than Adrienna, she was sure that was the exact measurement. Was he a goat? He had horns. Tall goat man with a shiny head!
The realization that she was following a goat man made her giggle loudly, moving to walk directly next to Loki and staring up at him, entertained, while she walked without saying a thing.

Not a single part of him felt anything for the destruction he was causing, the mortal lives he would be held accountable for. Not a single things. the mortals scrambled in a mad dash to get away, trampling, crushing one another under foot. It was a disgusting act, the held no dignity, no honor. Only a will to step on one another to save their own skin. They were no better then cattle. Who would as well mindlessly trample anything in their path to escape danger.
Though Loki had been truly un aware that he had amassed a fan of sorts. In fact he was too absorbed in his own mind to care With one swift movement he released a powerful blast of energy using the source of the cube. Another cause to the current state of his mind. There was nothing allowing him to think clearly as he destroyed what ever this thing was clearly standing in his path. He knew what it was, though how ever Loki was unsure of what it was called.

His eyes were guided to the television screen inside of the pizzaria, and he would have just ignored it for a spell and let Spider-Man or Daredevil or any number of the heroes in New York take of it when he spotted green. Green. He sighed and set down his pizza. Code green and set of antlers meant Loki. Loki meant trouble. Chaos. Trouble today came in the form of needless destruction, and there was a little girl just a breath away from Loki's grasp. Thor had to move. He stood up and moved to the exit. When he turned back, the miffed restaurant owner thought Thor was going to pay for his meal, but instead the God of Thunder took a large bite out of his pizza and then left. He pretty much took out the whole slice in that one mouthful. The man was about to protest when Thor took out Mjolnir and raised it to the sky above, summoning thunder to his arms. The owner stopped in his tracks, letting this one slide. You had to pick your battles after all, and if you had pick one, there was no sense picking a battle with a god.
He flew up into the air with a swing of his hammer, launching himself into the skyline and scanning the city for signs of Loki. Once Thor had gathered his bearing he followed in pursuit. This would be the first time Thor would confront Loki since the events of Angeles and Asgard. What had happened to his brother during this time?
"Loki!" he called out, somewhere between anger and raw confusion. "What are your reasonings for your crimes against these people. They have done nothing to you!" Thor was half a street across from Ri and Loki, not daring to step closer for the moment should Loki prove to keep the little as his hostage. She seemed to be under some kind of spell.

Wooooooowie. Pretty lights!
For just a moment Adrienna had thought she'd found the source of the fireworks! Did the Goat Man have fireworks in his weird walking stick?
But then something else happened. There was a wave of blue energy stuff and Adrienna got hit with it. She barely registered what was going on as it was happening, but soon she hit something. It was a tall tree growing on the side of the pavement, in a designated patch of grass behind a bench that Adrienna had toppled over.
Ouchies. Her body was full of ouchies! Her chest and stomach hurt, her skin singed through the fabric of her shirt that had gotten burned from the attack. Her back and head hurt from smacking right into the tree. Was there blood trickling out of her nose?
Oh no! Blood!
Her eyes went wide after her head stopped being so fuzzy. She was scraped up, bruised, and had a bloody nose. Uh-oh.
Adrienna's body went into a panic and her defenses immediately kicked in. At the threat of someone attacking and having been hit, her powers kicked into high-gear. Having made contact with the tree behind her, Adrienna began sucking the life out of the plant.
Her breathing quickened, her heart rate doubled. Tears pricked at her eyes. Confusion and panic overcame her. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to concentrate, tried to stop hurting the tree.
But she couldn't. With every passing second that she sat there, frozen in fear, the tree behind her died. The leaves lost their green and turned to ash. The bark became brittle and creaked and cracked. Branches came down around her as the trunk of the tree lost its strength. The nutrients were sucked out of it so it shrank in size. Roots snapped out of the ground like rope that had broken.
Soon, all that remained behind Adrienna was a short, small husk of something that had once been alive. But all of her injuries had healed, including her bloody nose.
Now, all she had to do was run. But she couldn't. Her legs wouldn't move.

[atrb=border,0,true]So Cut Out The Heart And Watch the World Burn Down
He was not of sound mind right now, in fact it had shattered, splintered. His vivid green eyes were glazed and glitched. So many of these people only acted as they were insane, thought they were, claimed it. They could not prove it, and any attempt now would only leave them looking like frightened sheep.... oh wait. They already were. Loki watched, reveled in the destruction he was causing, this was chaos.
This was the only thing that would ever truly slate his mind, but it was at the cost of his sanity and possibly injury as it seems another had entered the playing field. Though he had not noticed. He was far too focused on the play at hand. The humans were scrambling, pushing over, tearing one another apart to simply get away from the source of the sudden outburst, to get away from him. Loki's smirk was sickening, vile and twisted.
Now he had his foster brother to deal with. Thor was the one thing that was his foil. An he was Thor's. Loki knew that Thor would always try and sway him back to the Man he once was. How hard was it for Thor to see that, That Loki was gone. That Loki had died with Laufey. It mattered not any more. Thor could not change Loki, It was but a fruitless effort. He possessed an insatiable, ravenous thirst for Chaos and Revenge. Matched only by his malicious plots to rule the realms or destroy them.
Though it wasn't exactly any plot or point to this.
Just a bit of fun really.
He cast a green eyed glare towards the street as Thor's voice resonated across the steel city. Did he really expect him to stop due to the warning? How foolish a thought. An Thor claimed what Loki was doing was with out reason? Of course it was without purpose or reason, It was chaos, and is that not the nature of it?
"Predictable!" He exclaimed from behind them, with the plan of drawing their attention. "I tear your precious Midgard apart and you arrive to play the hero" He smirked then laughed at him.
"But where are your little friends? hiding perhaps?" He stood with his arms extended out before he dropped them back to his sides. As he did the spear rested almost carefully upon the hood of an adjacent car. It was almost a delicate action form the Trickster, however it was short lived. With out so much as a warning Loki started to walk the length of the car, letting the tip scrape the steel. A whine echoed like metal nails on a chalk board.
It did not stop until he reached the end of the mass of metal and with one easily placed hand, Loki flipped the car end over end with extreme force towards his Not- Brother.
It was only a ruse, Loki knew that he would block it, deflect it, something to avoid it. Why not use it as a cover for his own movements? He was matching pace with the flipping mass of metal, lying in wait until he could land a strike with the Scepter.

[img src=" "] Bruce was working in the lab, attempting to concoct solutions for a new and improved dose of a substance that would form his mind as a whole. When the solution was given, Bruce would've had complete control over his other side. He knew he couldn't rid the beast from his body, only leaving him one solution. Bruce took off his eye glasses and rubbed his eyes with a hand, but looked up to see a bunch of SHIELD agents scrambling through the halls of the Hellicarrier. Bruce immediately headed for the entrance of the lab, and walked out into the hallways. "What the hell is going on? Code Red?" he asked as he grabbed a shoulder of one of the lower ranking SHIELD agents. The agent only looked at Bruce with terror in his eyes, "No sir... Code Green" he spoke as he darted down the hallways with his fellow comrades.
Bruce thought the Hulk was code green, but for some reason it was something much more powerful and more threatening. Loki. The good doctor ran behind the hurried agents, and made his way towards the hangar. He wasn't going to just sit back and watch Loki attempt another invasion on his home. Bruce ran through the doors to the hangar, and heaved a sigh of relief at the sight of the quinjet. He hoped his fellow team members hadn't left him behind. Bruce ran past the crowds of Agents, and got on board. Within seconds of entering, he saw Captain America manning the helm. Bruce saw no one else, but only two high ranking SHIELD agents strapped in. "I take it you've heard what's going on?" the patriotic hero had asked. Bruce shook his head, as he walked down the aisle and sat down in the chair next to the Cap.
"I've only got the minor details of Loki attempting another invasion. Is that true?" Bruce asked as he put on his headset and began helping the Cap fire up the engine. The Hulk had proven to be worthy the last time Loki came around, and hopefully he would've been useful then. The goliath had been known to attack his team members after the real threat was eliminated, but hopefully it wouldn't have been the case this time. Bruce was fully committed and focused his mind-set on the evil god before them. The quinjet was airborne, and quickly zoomed over the Atlantic and heading right for the New York harbor.

CaptainAmerica was a symbol of freedom and America's most effective special operative. He was very capable during missions from World War 2, and proved to be a savior during the Chitauri Invasion. Steve only hoped this wasn't another Chitauri invasion, if so, they were yet to be prepared. The Avengers would've needed to grow, in order for the organization to survive from the other dangers that lurked. The Captain was debriefed on the situation at hand, causing him to walk from the war-room of the Helicarrier to the Hangar bay of the facility. The Helicarrier was just above the clouds, and off the coast of the New York Harbor. Steve walked upon the Quinjet's opening, already dressed in his war suit. His Shield was by his side, every step of the way.
He looked around and watched all of the SHIELD agents in a panic of worry. They were highly trained young men and women, and knew that this was not a drill. Steve held his kevlar mask within his other hand, making his way to the front of the quinjet to pilot the aicraft. The Captain was a remarkable pilot, and could basically fly any aircraft easily, even if it were alien. The Super Soldier Serum not only enhanced his physical attributes, but his mental and emotional attributes as well. He was the ultimate soldier and an icon of the United States of America. People respected him and his choices, and would enlist their trust into this man. He was ambitious in succeeding the freedoms of every human being, making him a powerful foe.
Before Steve could proceed to take-off, he spotted Banner heading this way. Bruce would've been a valuable asset, especially against the power of Loki. "I take it you've heard what's going on?" spoke Cap as he began pressing buttons, and flipping switches. The good doctor responded not knowing the whole story. Thor was at the scene of the chaos, along with hundreds of civilians to be in the crosshairs. "We need to go, I'll fill you in on the way" spoke the Captain as the ignition was immediately started. Bruce was his co-pilot, and would've assisted him the entire way.
..............................
Captain America hovered the Quinjet at a whopping 3000 feet in the air right above the location of where the rumored Loki was seen. "Now I want Agent Johnson to take the helm while I parachute down to the target, I need you all to standby if I need any back-up" he spoke eyeing Banner as he pulled his parachute over his shoulders. The Cap threw his mask over his face, and clipped on his holster belts. With the vibranium shield in hand, he continued looking into Banner's eyes. "I need you to be ready just in case we need to drop a bomb... No telling how powerful Loki is, but I need the Hulk to come out to play on my call" he spoke as he quickly leaped out of the jet before Bruce could say no more. The Captain glides through the high pressured air, bringing himself closer to the troposphere. The Cap began to see the tall skyscrapers, drawing in closer and closer. He quickly released his parachute, and slowly began to land to the Earth's soil.
Steve landed hard on the concrete, bringing him to his knees letting the parachute slowly fall over him like a blanket. He stood up, and wrapped up his parachute with quick speed. He then looked around to try and fight a street sign. Before he could spot a street sign, he heard a loud blast of energy, following a green light almost a block away. Rogers sprinted towards the location with his shield in hand, just in time to spot Loki and Thor. He stood in the spot from afar, watching the car barrel towards the thunder god. Cap saw a little girl in the midst of the chaos, causing him to flip high into the air and land right next to her location. The cap slung his shield at Loki, letting it frisbee with precise aim at his head. He looked down at the girl, "You need to get out of the crossfire, come with me!" he exclaimed as he grabbed a hold of her small hand softly.

"Where you insist on spreading your chaos I shall always be there, brother, to clean after your destruction. To fight you. To call you home." Thor was not playing at anything. Earth was under his strength to protect. He was her shield from those like his brother who wished her harm. He spun Mjolnir in one oscillation in his arms, gripping the handle tightly once the hammer made one turn.
Thor would have answered his questions, something along the lines that he needn't the other Avengers in order to defend this city, but as the saying went, speak of the devil and he shall come. In this case the devil came in the form of a massive green goliath with a penchant for smashing things (and his brain Bruce), and Steve. "They've arrived on time." Though Thor largely preferred to handle Loki on his own, there was still the matter of the nearby people in the streets and buildings. They would need protecting when the fighting ensued, as leading Loki out of the city would have been futile.
Loki continued his theatrics and ran his spear along the roof of a car. The jarring noise cut into the surrounding silence like a scream. When it had stopped the car was careening towards his face, and Thor moved to swing his hammer and thrust it out of his way. "Gnrah!" he growled along with the roar of thunder as uru metal crushed steel.
A small voice distracted him, leaving him vulnerable to Loki's inevitable attack. Before Thor could move to help Ri, he was struck by Loki's scepter in the right side of his abdomen, but thankful Captain Rogers was able to see she was well in time. She was frightened, but at least she was now safe.

"There once was a Midgardian, hailing from the land known simply as "Nantuckit"..."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,WIDTH,true]URL OF TOP IMAGE |
[/img][/td][/tr][tr][td][atrb=background,http://i.imgur.com/X9ApVCh.jpg] Stars and cosmos had parted to let the young Asgardian reach such a new world; a new dimension had opened, and now the world was upon him - one that seemed so very different from his own. It WAS so very different from his own; this was not a simple universe - the world tree had opened, and in the midst he had found himself cast into one he was so unfamiliar. This Midgard was nothing like his own - true, perhaps it pertained some likeliness to that of what he was used to; architecture similarities, and a passion for the neon lights, screens so big it could be seen from streets away. But somehow it was different.
Despite it, he couldn't forget why he was here; what brought the young Asgardian to the city that was New York - the gem hadn't sent him for a simple vacation, this was no mere Thuresblot outing - he came to seek the man whom wielded the hammer; whom the Gods would call to in the nine realms and ask for assistance. That was his quest, to find his father, as said by an elder Thor - if there was a world, a city, where such a being could be found, then New York, he was told, would be it.
At first it seemed so difficult; to navigate the hustling, bustling crowd, struggling not to knock them down in each step, ignoring the shouts, screams and insults of already late New Yorkers - how might one man find another in such a world? As distinct as Thor might be, this was no simple task. At least, in the beginning - but a flash caught his eye, like that of the others in the city - and here lay the difference between themselves and the young Thorson. Panic instilled, and they ran, or watched with fear from the distance, questioning the happenings. Magni did not.
Experience had taught the young Asgardian much when it came to his heritage, and those who he grew up around. Thor, in his nearer twilight years, had become gruff and stern, unbudging from points and somewhat more bitter toward the world, though not so much the people of Earth might have to suffer for it. Meanwhile, his uncle bred contempt for Midgard; beings of a lesser importance, he didn't see how their living, breathing, might conjure up reason to support their survival. Magni could never understand it - but he did know one thing; green was always Loki's colour.
And so with that, he rushed toward the city - taking grasp of his axe from his side; one that had caused strange looks among the many Midgardians, especially those in a navy blue uniform. He had been somewhat too late to stop ensuing chaos; but not late enough to witness his father begin to fight valiantly against his uncle, while a man, coated with the colours of America, pulled a small girl from the crossfire. It seemed at first as though he might have been unnecessary - until Loki struck with the scepter.
"Father, no!"
His scream was loud; enough that, even over the sound of commotion, his voice was heard - his fists clenched, his teeth grit, and he charged the man in green. Magni's rage was quickly setting, and unwilling to watch his father become stabbed once more, or for the scepter to dig deeper, he stormed toward the God of Chaos, and with distance enough closed, tackled him around the stomach.
Were he but a normal man, Magni's attempt would only ever end in perhaps his own broken shoulder - but it was true that Magni was no normal mortal man. An Asgardian prince, the God of Strength, he collided violently with Loki, sending the pair sailing through the air, only to smash into the side of a car; metal denting around Loki's back, Magni tumbled off of him, falling over the vehicle, discarded to the sidewalk.
With a heave, Thorson pulled himself to his feet, glaring toward Loki - his axe having been dropped in the ensuing charge.
"You will not strike my father in such a way, uncle, nor will your cruelty toward the Midgardians stand! These people do you no wrong, mean you no harm - and neither do we, your family! Lower your weapon!"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: transparent;true] Is it safe inside my head? Songs to serenade the dead....
Ouchies! So many ouchies! And explosions and lights. People were screaming. Two of them were fighting. The Goat Man and someone else. He had a red blanket on his shoulders and long blonde hair. And... was that a hammer? That's silly. Was he a carpenter?
[Boom!]
The car went bye-bye. Not sure where, but that hammer was strong! It fixed that car right out of the sky! Maybe the carpenter could fix the goat man too? Maybe if he hit him with his hammer it would make Goat Man nice.
"Hammer!" Adrienna shouted to the carpenter across the street, smacking her fist into her opposite palm to tell him what she wanted him to do. He wasn't paying attention to her though. Rude.
[Woosh! Duh nuh nuhhhh.]
Enter Flag Man! 8D
Er. No. What was his name? She'd seen him before. Wearing red, white, and blue just like the flag. And sparkly? No, that was her. He wasn't sparkly. Captain! Captain something. Captain Flag? Okay, yes. Captain Flag.
He came up to her. Wow, he was tall. Was she still sitting down? She dusted off her pants and stood up, looking at him curiously.
"You need to get out of the crossfire, come with me!"
Crossfire? What was he talking about? No one was firing any crosses.
He grabbed her hand. Immediately Adrienna could feel her powers kick in, pulling strength from Captain America like a vampire sucking blood. She still had ouchies she needed to fix. More and more her powers drained him and if he didn't let go soon he'd be nothing but an unconscious block on the ground.
"Nuh!!" She squealed, eyes wide, trying to pull her hand away from Cap. She didn't want to hurt him. He was a hero!

Excuse me, but I might drink a little more than I should tonight. And I might take you home with me if I could tonight. And baby, I'mma make you feel so good tonight. Cuz we might not get tomorrow. Seriously, was there ever a moment where the world didn't need to be saved?
Tony was beginning to rethink this whole Avengers business. Maybe he'd had the right idea when he hadn't wanted to be part of Nick Fury's super secret boy band. What exactly had changed his mind? Oh yeah. The fact that they wanted to take Iron Man without the Tony Stark.
That pissed him off. Of course they couldn't have Iron Man without Tony Stark. Tony Stark was Iron Man. And Iron Man had a job to do right now, unfortunately. Because someone had let Loki off his icy leash and now New York was in peril... again.
JARVIS was feeding him information as he flew from the tower. Apparently some of the other Avengers had arrived already, but they still didn't appear to be winning. Then there was the Thor clone he was curious about and the kid that had gotten caught up in everything.
Tony couldn't keep everyone safe. He just couldn't. Sometimes people had to take charge themselves. Why was it always up to him to save everyone?
"All right, Kiddies. Party's over. Let's leave the clown alone. His time is up." Tony announced as he arrived on the scene, red and gold suit hovering just yards above the heads of Thor and Cap.
But someone apparently was not listening to him because Clone Wars decided to tackle Loki into someone's car. Great. Now that green-clad poor excuse for a yeti was not going to be a happy camper.
"So I take it talking over a good round of whiskey isn't an option anymore?"
Grab somebody sexy tell 'em hey, Give me everything tonight. I want all of you tonight. Cuz we might not get tomorrow. |

Thousand armies couldn't keep me out See I've come to burn your kingdom down |
Thor's words were pointless, empty and hollow to Loki's ears as he charged forward. It never failed, Thor had left himself wide open for a strike. And the others, their arrival meant little to him. Loki cared not about them. He could twist the mind of the Hulk so easily, distract him from his true nature and cause the beast to attack his friends. It would all be far to simple.
The Trickster Laughed in the face of the Thunder God as he stood face to face with him. His scepter digging deeper into his flesh. Only their own weapons and their own kind could do them any damage here. He twisted the scepter in his hand, "They cannot save you, You will die before I return to Asgard."
His words flowed like venom. Loki cared not for what any one else was doing. However it seemed the game had change. he had not expected the arrival of another Asgardian. The game it self just became so much more interesting.
Not to mention that Stark had entered the equation as well. Interesting as it was, the man sounded like he was now the voice of reason that Rogers once was.
The Trickster had not the time to react when the young Magni collided with him. Loki laughed psychotically as they caused the very shape of the car. they slammed into to change. The metal shifted, curling up in a v formation from the impact.
Loki had not been hit like that in centuries. Not even when he and Thor destroyed the Bifrost Bridge. He pulled himself from the wreckage and pushed the car violently behind him with a swift backwards kick. Loki took no stock in the youngling's words. He cared not for who he claimed to be, Loki had no family on Asgard. He never had.
The God of Chaos feigned defeat, Lifting both his hands to be level with his shoulders. His palms facing forward. The Scepter had been dropped along the way near Thor. However, to be as bold to say that was his only weapon was foolish. The God's fingers curled slightly as he channeled his own power through his hands, sending two powerful blasts at this possible impostor.

Thor was pushed back by the force of Magni's blow, knocked backwards and holding his hand to his stomach. His moments on the ground allowed him a few seconds in which to digest what had just happened. Getting stabbed by Loki was fairly commonplace. Being addressed as father, well... Thor had to do a little math. He rose to his feet and watched this new Asgardian with his great axe battle Loki. He had not seen this man's face just yet, but he wore the royal armor. Thor could recognize the armorer's work anywhere.
When Loki seemed to surrender it seemed as though the group had won, but if there was a truth to be absolute about Loki, it was that Loki lies. He always lies. The peaceable action by his brother was just a farce; as soon as their defenses were unguarded, Loki struck back at them with two powerful magic blasts from the same arms that moments earlier seemed to yield in surrender. Wounded, he summoned Mjolnir back to him and threw it to try and intercept Loki's blow. Son or not, Thor would not allow this boy to be hurt on his behalf. He found himself standing curiously in front of Magni, the boy's axe in his hands. "Know this, a son of Asgard never forgets," he said, and moved to place the weapon back in its owner's hands.
"Loki! Enough of your tricks! You will yield!" a low rumble of thunder followed. Though Thor had been injured, he would not see this battle end yet.
