"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: White, formerly blonde, that is usually kept short and tidy.
Eyes: One good blue eye. Nothing too remarkable about it.
Height: 6'4
Weight: 225 lbs
Distinguishing Marks: Missing an eye, various scars line his body
Appearance: Despite his age, Slade has managed to keep himself in shape. Hard muscle adorns every inch of his body, and body fat will likely not be found on the man. His fitness is not usually the first thing people notice about him. Thanks to his wife, Slade no longer has a right eye. Of course, he covers it with an eyepatch to keep from scaring people away. No one wants to see an empty hole. In his mercenary attire, his costume even illustrates his lack of an eye. As one side of his mask does not have an eye. This feature merely shows the overconfidence of Deathstroke. Though when he isn't wearing his heavily armored "costume", he can usually be seen clothing ranging from casual to formal depending on the situation.

Personality: There is a single word in the English language best used to summarize the entirety of Deathstroke’s personality, obsessed. As soon as he makes a decision, he will follow through with it regardless of the difficulties involved or the obstacles that reside in his path toward his ultimate objectives. Failure is acceptable to him only as long as he does not concede to it. He regards his failures as mere stumbles from which he immediately recovers to make another attempt. He does not accept compromise or refusal. He will not be denied. He fervently believes in the philosophy, “If, at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again.”
Deathstroke defines an obstacle as a challenge meant to be overcome or eliminated and his personal definition of the word encompasses activities and people as well as objects. He strives to exist without obstacles and to reach the peak of perfection (He already considers himself without equal). To a certain degree, he understands that such a dream can never be fulfilled. He pursues it regardless as a result of his obsession and because personal growth and progression serve him among his primary sources of entertainment.
Anyone who attempts to reason with Deathstroke will quickly learn they have made a critical error in judgment. The only opinions that matter to him are his own. He ignores most of anything said that does not pertain to a subject of his interest. In his experience, the vast majority of people are ignorant fools; as a result, he makes it a habit to socialize as little as possible. Ironically enough, anyone who fails to take him seriously quickly earns his irritation or worse.
Deathstroke does not take kindly to threats, blackmail, or coercion. The easiest method for a person to bring his wrath crashing down upon them is to threaten him. Those who try manipulating him generally have a less than average life span as they suffer an unmentionably horrible death. He cannot be compromised and he certainly does not experience fear; instead, he instills it in others, especially those who attempt to intimidate or manipulate him.
A job is mostly just that to Deathstroke and his business involves wanton murder and destruction. If asked what the meaning of life is, Deathstroke would state that life is meaningless. People are inferior creatures to him and killing them comes as easily to him as squashing bugs does to a child. He usually does not shed blood for personal reasons. Most of what he accomplishes is simply business and business involves the occasional elimination of competitors.
Let it not be said that Deathstroke does not enjoy his occupation, however. He revels in the thrill of pitting himself against the greatest mental and physical forces Earth has to offer. He exists to gamble his life against the lives of others, preferably against the lives of those capable of contesting him. He strives to have his very existence threatened and his self-appointed superiority challenged. He is content only when engaged with an opponent or in an activity that requires the full capacity of his focus, skills, and abilities; only then can he demonstrate his flawlessness to the world. Conflict is his passion and serves him as his ultimate obsession.
Deathstroke is exceedingly proud of most of what he has accomplished and of his capabilities and capacity for death and destruction. He places absolute faith and confidence in himself, leaving no room in his life for trust in anyone else. He considers himself superior to all other life on Earth. To him, the world is simply his hunting ground in which he is the ultimate predator in all of history.
Believe it or not, but Deathstroke is not a man who lives entirely without regret. There are decisions he made in the past that led to certain traumatic events. He lost the few people in the world he actually cared about and he continues blaming himself for each of his losses. He carries immeasurable guilt wherever he goes; it lies deep within his mind beneath his seemingly impenetrable exterior. No one should ever expect him to open up, however. It is his opinion that nothing can be gained from dwelling on the past other than revisiting old pain and suffering from it. Moving forward is all that matters to Deathstroke at present.
In conclusion, Deathstroke is an unnervingly stubborn, committed, proud, passionate, arrogant, egotistical, untrusting, uncompromising, and vengeful professional.
"With great power comes great responsibility"
Powers: As a result of an experimental hormone therapy conducted by the US government, Slade became a super soldier. Unbeknown to Slade's superiors, the procedure boosted his brain capacity, increasing his coordination and stamina to above human levels. His mental capacities are accelerated by a factor of 9, allowing him to think and perceive nine times faster, affording him a greatly superior reaction time. He is said to have "the strength of ten men," and he also possesses enhanced speed and agility.
Slade has also been granted an modestly accelerated healing factor which enables him to recover from physical injuries much faster than most humans, which supplies him with great longevity. This ability has limitations, as he can not regenerate lost eyes or limbs. He has recovered from otherwise fatal injuries, but the experience is traumatic. He has suffered from short-term periods of insanity and animalistic behavior after these "resurrections" (much like Ra's Al Ghul after using a Lazarus Pit). These episodic feral states are temporary, however, and he eventually regains control of himself.
As he is able to think, theoretically, nine times faster than most humans, Deathstroke possesses heightened senses, reflexes, and physical acumen, making him an great tactician.
Weapons Sword and Automatic Pistols
Strengths/Abilities: Tactical Analysis: Slade is a great strategist and tactician. Always calculating his opponents moves before hand; he even single handedly defeated the JLA roster that lacked the "Big Three". He has been compared to Batman in terms of tactical methods. Even against metahumans he has proven more than a match for them all at once with time to prepare. Roy Harper once claimed the Slade was, "The worlds greatest tactician."
Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Slade trained in hand-to-hand combat and when he was in the Army, he proved himself to be one of their best fighters.. Later he received martial arts training in various styles. After mastering these martial arts he furthered his studies when he sought an assassin known as Natas to train him in the ways of Ninja and had studied assassination techniques. His physical prowess is so great that he has defeated Batman in hand to hand combat.
Swordsmanship: Using his superior problem-solving skills, Deathstroke can work out a battle ahead of time for many possibilities and predict enemy movements and tactics after the battle has engaged by recalling and utilizing memorized mannerisms acquired through past experience on a moment's notice.
Weaknesses: Does NOT Play well with Others: Deathstroke strongly prefers working alone; if forced to work with others, he will do so only resentfully and assert his dominance over his comrades. If he feels threatened even to the slightest degree by a supposed ally, he will eliminate them.
Enemies: Deathstroke has made enemies with heroes, villains, law enforcement agencies, mercenaries, assassins, criminal organizations, major corporations, armies, and entire countries. Does he care? Not really.
Permanent Loss: His body cannot regenerate completely lost body parts.
True Death: Separating his head from his body will result in his permanent death.

History: Slade Wilson was sixteen years old when he first enlisted in the United States Army, having lied about his age. After serving a stint in Korea, he was later assigned to Camp Washington where he had been promoted to the rank of Major. In the early 1960s, he met Captain Adeline Kane who was tasked with training young soldiers in new fighting techniques in anticipation of brewing troubles taking place in Vietnam. Kane was amazed at how skilled Slade was and how quickly he adapted to modern conventions of warfare. She immediately fell in love with him, and realized that he was without a doubt the most able-bodied combatant she had ever encountered. She offered to privately train Slade in guerrilla warfare. In less than a year, Slade mastered every fighting form presented to him and was soon promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Six months later, Adeline and he were married and she became pregnant with their first child. It was at this time that the war in Vietnam began to escalate and Slade was shipped overseas. At home, Adeline gave birth to their son Grant.
Some time later, Wilson volunteered for a medical experiment designed to stimulate his adrenal gland in the hopes of increasing a soldier's ability to resist truth serums. The experiment did not go as expected, and Slade fell into a coma. When he awakened however, he discovered that he was now capable of using 90% of his brain capacity, and his strength, durability and agility were increased to near-superhuman levels. He applied for re-assignment with the Army, but they refused him. Although his condition was now stabilized, depression took hold of him and he was desperate to serve his country. At this time, Adeline became pregnant with their second child, Joseph. Unable to further his career in the military, Slade turned towards hunting. He became a world famous safari hunter and great wealth followed soon after. Adeline always suspected however that Slade felt unfulfilled.
A few years later, a group of hired mercenaries broke into the Wilsons' mansion and kidnapped young Joey. Adeline attempted to fight them off, but a gas grenade prevented her from saving her son. When Slade discovered what had happened, he knew he could not keep the truth from his wife any longer. Slade was not only a world famous safari hunter, he was also one of the world's deadliest and most highly sought after assassins - Deathstroke the Terminator. He promised Adeline that he would save their son. Together, they flew to Tangiers and squared off against a rival mercenary known as the Jackal. The Jackal wanted Slade to reveal important information relating to a client or else he would have his men kill Joey. Slade gambled on the idea that he could save his son before the Jackal could give the order. Unfortunately, Joseph's throat was slashed by one of the criminals before Slade could prevent it, destroying his vocal cords and rendering him mute. After taking Joseph to the hospital, Slade's wife, enraged at his endangerment of her son, tried to kill Slade by shooting him, but only managed to destroy his right eye. Afterward, his confidence in his physical abilities was such that he made no secret of his impaired vision, marked by his mask which has a black featureless half covering his lost eye.

Not far from Slade sat a man. Well, slouched would be the more appropriate word for it. It was a surprise that the man was still conscious. Crimson covered the man's face. Pink flesh could not be seen. If the man died, Slade hardly cared. Though, for the moment, he preferred the man's survival. In about an hour, he wouldn't care about the man's life. It would be insignificant. Pointless in the grand scheme of things. All Slade needed to hear was a password. One little word that would get him past security without raising the alarms. The man in front of him was a top nuclear scientist working on some sort of weapon. Well, he didn't know he was working on a weapon. Slade's employers knew more than enough about the device, and its capabilities to harness the power of it as a potential weapon. His employers wanted the password. Not the weapon. It was all Slade was paid for, and he didn't have to promise that their little prize would be there. Finally, the scientist looked up at Slade and spoke in a weak voice. Barely able to hear the man, Slade forced a pen and pencil in the man's hand. Slowly, he wrote the password and gave the small piece of paper back to Slade. Taking a picture of it, Slade sent it to his employers. Unknown to both Slade and the scientist, the place had been rigged to explode from the start. When that smell of fire hit Slade's nose, he quickly burst out of the small warehouse. His employers had just made a huge mistake. Betraying and leaving him alive.
Leaving the burning wreckage behind him, Slade quickly made his way to the scientist place of work. Likely, his employers had already dispatched a few hired goons to go get the little science project. As he finally arrived, his beliefs were confirmed. In fact, they had done a terrible job at infiltrating the building. They hadn't even made it through the security gate. The sound of gunshots could be heard in the air. The goons had been found, and Slade knew more would be coming. The people who hired him were rich and powerful. Helicopters could be heard in the distance. A whole army was coming just to raid the laboratory. Though, it seemed, that the labs security wasn't messing around. From the sounds of it, they were using automatic weapons. The occasional sound of explosions confirmed the large amount of power in their hands. In order to steal this weapon, he'd have to be careful. He didn't exactly feel like having to recover from getting shot multiple times. Especially when they were chucking grenades around like it was nothing. With a smirk, Slade moved through the security gates. "Going to be a typical day," Slade murmured with a smirk.
