Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

The teenager wondered what the Teen Titans would face this time, how long it would be before they had to face Pride. The dark Titan knew that her Pride was a dangerous thing, it even effected her when she was away from her father's influence. As much as she disliked it, Pride was who she was and something she could not escape.
Eyes blinked as Raven felt a darker side to Wally's emotions. The red head appeared to be nervous, convinced that he had failed someone or something. Yet she did not say anything, simply taking in the loose feelings that Wally was indulging himself in. Often Raven spoke about peoples feelings nailing the reason straight away and causing further emotional problems. But Wally was keeping his emotions away as much as possible and the empath had barely any time to consider them before the speedster halted the feelings. "Wally, you don't need to hide your feelings from me. Containing your emotions is not often the best cause of action and no one should have to suffer in silence. You can always talk to me on the matter." |
The emotions that Wally had been feeling bothered her ever since she had first sensed them at the reunion of the Teen Titans and although she knew that Wally did not feel ready, the dark empath was willing to help, even if she would feel everything that Wally was going through. "Its the least I could do in return for all the kindness you have shown me." She replied truthfully as she looked towards her friend. Listening to Wally's passionate words on how the Titans would miss her and mourn, Raven looked down at her feet. She was not scared of dying, she had done it before. What concerned her was what the Titans would feel. There was no way that she could help them stop their grieving once she was gone. It was a dreadful situation that they faced. If only the threat of Trigon stopped looming over her and controlling her life. "It seems like there is little that I can do to stop that. To help prevent the grief." She said softly as she stared at her shoes, not wanting to meet Wally's eyes. It was difficult to bring this up with her friend and bring his emotions down, especially when he had his own emotions to go through. As Wally asked her to promise him, the dark teenager looked back up at her friend and looked into his eyes. "Wallace West," Raven said, formally, using his full first name. "I promise you that I will do all that is within my power to stay out of my father's grips and to not let my demonic side get the better of me." For a moment the Titan looked strong, prideful in her own abilities, determined to control her own fate before her features relaxed and they once again became almost emotionless with a hint of sorrow. "Besides, I do not want to loose the great company that I have." She said softly, offering Wally a smile.[/style] tags:Wally! word count: ??? muse: Various notes: TITANS TOGETHER Table Layout By BRY, 2012[/style]

Wally felt off-put, nervous and awkward amount other things as Raven verbally acknowledged his feelings he tried to hide. He wished he could just lock it all up. But he knew he had to deal with them eventually. One day he'd have to talk to someone about it all. "If you can feel that then you can also probably feel that I'm not ready to talk about. To anyone." He didn't say it snappily and he tried not to sound sullen either. He felt it was an invasion of privacy though he didn't say that. He knew that Raven could not of helped feeling his emotions. She was an empath.
"We're Titans. Family. You don't owe me anything. Besides, you're already having trouble with your own emotions right now. I don't need to burden you with mine." Wally might not of wanted to talk about it, but even more so he didn't want to burden him with this. All of it could very well send her over the edge.
Wally felt bad over Ravens sadness from his speech about grieving the loss of a friend. He didn't want Raven to feel sorry. To feel terrible about it or something. "Don't be sorry. Grieving, mourning. It's all part of life. Sure it sucks. But it also reminds us we're all human. Even those of us less physically human than others. And we don't just remember how you die. No. We remember the good times. The way you lived."
Wally smiled widely in response to Ravens promise. It was nice, even if just for a moment, to see Raven strong, prideful and determined. If she was going to make it through this she would have to be strong. They all would have to be. Besides, even if she was going to have to die she shouldn't live her last moments as Raven sad and sullen and dreading what was to come. She deserved better than that. "Thank you." he responded to the promise.
Wally's signature smirk crossed his face before Wally crossed his feet putting them on the table. He put his hands behind his head as he leaned back on the chair. "Yeah, I am pretty great, aren't I?" Wally said in mock admiration of himself. As he leaned back on the chair it feel over and the left back leg broke causing Wally to fall to the ground. Wally rubbed the back of his head for a moment. "Heh . . . The chair couldn't take the greatness, I guess." Wally turned into a blur as he fixed the chair in a split second returning to his position.

Pointing out Wally's emotions may not have been the best of ideas, Raven noted as she felt the speedster's nerves. He didn't want to talk about it and he was not pleased with her having brought it up. "If you can feel that then you can also probably feel that I'm not ready to talk about. To anyone." The dark teenager nodded, looking away as she responded. "I did not mean now but when you are ready, I will be here if you ever want to talk to me."

Raven said, turning her soft gaze back to her fellow Titan. "We're Titans. Family. You don't owe me anything. Besides, you're already having trouble with your own emotions right now. I don't need to burden you with mine."A small smile graced the dark teen's face as Wally spoke of how the Teen Titans. It was one of the things that bought her some happiness, even though that feeling should not be allowed. As hard as she tried, it was impossible to not feel completely. Some emotion would always slip in. "But you cannot be expected to have to control your emotions just to help make things easier for me." Raven did not deny that it would be a burden to feel Wally's emotions, it was the true but Raven knew it was her curse to bear and hers alone. "Don't be sorry. Grieving, mourning. It's all part of life. Sure it sucks. But it also reminds us we're all human. Even those of us less physically human than others. And we don't just remember how you die. No. We remember the good times. The way you lived." Indigo eyes looked at Wally with thought as he said that, obviously trying to help her feel better about the situation. Emotions were an interesting thing and it was common for one to try and stop the negative emotions in others, Raven noted. Getting up, Raven walked over to Wally and lightly placed a hand on his shoulder, allowing some comfort to pass from her to Wally. It wasn't correct to force others to feel emotion but this was more of a suggestion and an offer. If Wally ever needed comfort, then Raven would do her best. As Wally leaned back in his chair, Raven went back to her seat and sat down, legs hanging loosely. "Yeah, I am pretty great, aren't I?" The dark Titan gave a smile in response, not due to feeling humour but because she knew that it was the correct reaction. But in a blink of an eye the situation changed and Wally was on the ground, before Raven could rise once more, the speedster was back on his feet. "Heh . . . The chair couldn't take the greatness, I guess." "Are you OK, Wally, you didn't hurt yourself? Despite of your greatness." Raven said, concern actually in her voice as she looked for any sign of pain in her companion. Wally relaxed more in his seat. He felt really terrible. Raven was being so honest with him and telling him something huge and important. And he couldn’t even tell her about what happened to him. He knew everyone probably suspected something happened. Sure he aged slowly but anyone who knew him would know that more time had passed for him. He had aged. It might not seem like too much to the normal passerby he had never met but the other Teen Titans? They’d know something was off no matter how hard he tried to hide it. Especially Raven with her empathy. He wished he could just spill it out, but . . . he couldn’t. He wasn’t ready. It was all too much for him and he could bet it could set Raven off if he let it all out like that. “Thank you,” Wally responded. Wally knew some of the other Teen Titans would have pried for answers. beast Boy might have spent all day poking him and asking him questions. Dick might have gotten all intrusive and put his investigator cap on and get all snoopy. Star might have quoted some Tamaranian quote he’d have no idea as to what it meant. So it was nice knowing that Raven would be there when he was ready. Not when she was. He was certainly glad she respected his wishes.
Wally nodded. “I know you wouldn’t ask that of me. Part of your powers is able to help ease the pain and suffering of others. But it’s not a chance I’m willing to take if it might set off Trigon’s plans. Besides . . . this is something I have to deal with on my own before anyone else can help me.” He eyes followed Raven as she got up and walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder passing some comfort on to him. It certainly was nice. Comfort. He didn’t fight it off though. Even though he did want to deal with it himself. She wasn’t necessarily forcing it onto him. He needed the comfort after everything that happened, everything he was told and certainly after what might happen. The thought of Pride and Trigon was never nice. IT was always a moral dilemma as well. The thought of having to end Raven’s life to save the world wasn’t comforting in anyway. He wanted to fight that with every ounce of his being. Do whatever it took to ensure her safety. To make sure that it didn’t come down to that. But he wasn’t really sure what there was he could do. Then something struck him like lightning. He had heard of the man.
“Raven . . . what about that guy from the other universe. I’ve heard about him. He’s supposedly sort of like their Doctor Fate. Calls himself Sorcerer Supreme or something like that. Have you thought about maybe asking him?” Wally had heard about the man. After all he had been looking this stuff up to get a feel for the other heroes and villains and big names of the other universe. It was important and it wasn’t as if he didn’t have the time. He always had time on his side. It was part of the package of being a speedster. He didn’t fully trust the new universe just yet, though he had worked alongside a couple of them and they seemed like good people. But he needed to know more. But if any of them could possibly prevent what Raven said was coming he’d get down on his hands and knees and beg for their help if he had to.
Wally smiled and let out a small chuckle at her comment including greatness. “I’m fine. Been through worse. though I suppose the chair was a tad bit more formidable a foe than Captain Boomerang,” Wally joked while rubbing the back of his neck.

Eyes slowly closed as Raven noted how her words had affected Wally, and not exactly in a positive way. There was relief in him as he didn't have to talk, Raven assumed but he was also feeling terrible and the dark Titan assumed that it was because he was remembering something that caused him much difficulty, even as Raven was going through her own personal struggle with her inner (and outer) demons. “Thank you,” Eyes flickered open as Wally thanked her and Raven's features carefully morphed into a smile of response in answer. She wasn't going to speak and put any more pressure on the situation; it had to be very serious if the speedster could not talk about it.
“I know you wouldn’t ask that of me. Part of your powers is able to help ease the pain and suffering of others. But it’s not a chance I’m willing to take if it might set off Trigon’s plans. Besides . . . this is something I have to deal with on my own before anyone else can help me.” It was nice to see how seriously Wally was taking this and Raven knew that the Teen Titans would be able to thrive under his leadership. "Well, if you ever need to meditate, I can help you there. It's very calming and useful when it comes to reflecting on a situation or one's emotions."
|
Raven offered, ever willing to offer help to those who had become family. Even if she could do little to help. As she offered Wally comfort with a light touch of her hand and empathetic abilities, Raven was gladdened when her teammate took it. She didn't think he deserved to feel extra weight upon his shoulders because of what problems Raven faced. He needed to be aware and prepared. “Raven . . . what about that guy from the other universe. I’ve heard about him. He’s supposedly sort of like their Doctor Fate. Calls himself Sorcerer Supreme or something like that. Have you thought about maybe asking him?” That perked Raven's interest. The half-demon had not heard of such a man and although she did not know if the differences between worlds would mean effect whatever help he could offer, it did seem like a good path to explore. "I haven't heard of this man. Can we find out more. Its worth investigating." Raven replied, wondering if he might provide the answer that they needed. The topic moved onto lightly conversation and Raven watched as Wally rubbed his neck, doubting that he had hurt himself so much that he would need her to help. “I’m fine. Been through worse. though I suppose the chair was a tad bit more formidable a foe than Captain Boomerang,” Raven nodded and went to take a seat. Hopefully all the younger members will not have to face the dangers of the chairs." Raven replied, keeping up with the light tone. It certainly seemed like a good way to head.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
