Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

"I hope this is the right place." Ollie asked himself aloud as he removed a piece paper from his pocket. On the paper had an address which had been given to Oliver by a business associate. He looked at the build, seeing the address match that of the paper followed by him checking his left and right. Surprisingly, this had been the first time which he had been in New York City and in his opinion, it was busy. This city forced Ollie to be on the edge and he honestly hated the feeling of being on edge. He hoped he could calm down and it surely would help once he enter in the building, so he though. Ollie took a deep breathe and enter the building. The main reason why he was here, was because he was having some financial problems with his night club. This was indeed odd for the infamous rich boy, Oliver Queen to be having money troubles but it wasn't like that. His daughter Mia, found that an employee was stealing money for the club and stated Ollie should bring it to count. With the evidences alone, he could no doubt win but he didn't want to take his chance, so he was meeting an lawyer.
Someone referred Oliver Queen to a lawyer known as Jennifer Walters. Oliver's business associate spoke highly off this lawyer and stated she was very famous because of her work in New York. Thus the main reason why Mr. Queen was here and not in Star City. Once Ollie was in the building, he began speaking to a receptionist about the current whereabouts of Miss Walters, whom seemed to be in a business meeting. Oliver smirked and thanked the kind receptionist, followed by him heading for the elevator. Once inside, he pressed the button labeled 4th floor and waited. The elevator ring once reaching the proper floor and Ollie was only left to find the room number and then he was golden!
Oliver stroked his beard, looking to his left then his right. He could see there was an east and west side. Lucky, the receptionist told him the room was 208E. He quickly headed in that direction. Once he spotted the door, Oliver knocked on the door and spoke. "Hello. Miss Walters, I'm in need of your service." He put a pretty smile on his face, as he waited for the door to be opened.

&& i won't be D E N I E D by you / / the A N I M A L inside of you / / - - - - - - - The day had been hectic to say the least. Jen had been at the prison bright and early to meet with a client on a murder trial that had been proving to soak up the majority of her time. The whole case was a mess. The accused was a mutant rookie cop and there were complications left and right including missing evidence, contradicting eye-witness statements, and the fact that the mutant’s abilities were sure to cloud the judgment of the jury. Jen had been spending quite a bit of time with her client in order to prepare for the pretrial. She had taken the case on pro bono but was beginning to doubt whether or not her client was telling the truth. After wrapping up at the prison just before noon, Jen had to hightail it back to the office in Manhattan for a lunch meeting with one of the partners at the firm to brief him on her findings. After she downed half a sandwich and spoke as fast as she could, she was off to testify in a court case halfway across New York during lunch hour traffic. When she made it back to the office for the second time that day she had another business meeting to attend to. It was just after three in the afternoon and Jen was already on her fourth cup of coffee. This was the kind of day her professors warned her about in law school.
She had just gotten back into her office on the east side of the building when she closed the blinds, hiding as much of the sunlight as she could within the office. If she could just close her eyes for a few minutes maybe the headache that had started to centralize in her temples would subside and she’d be able to truck through the stack of paperwork on her desk. She slipped her heels off and rested them next to her desk. Before she could move across the room to lay on the black leather couch, though, a knock sounded at the door. Jen closed her eyes tightly almost as if she were trying to will the man on the other side of the door away. When logic sunk in that imagining the man away wouldn’t work, she frowned and made her way to the door. She hadn’t even opened the door fully when she spoke. ”Typically when one requires my service they schedule an appointment with the receptionist.”
She was met with a rather attractive man with a charming smile on the other side of the door. He looked vaguely familiar as if she had seen his face in a magazine or something. But that couldn’t be the case. Even the celebrities she worked for only showed their faces when their signatures were required. But a handsome face wasn’t enough to keep her from her much needed cat nap. ”I do apologize but I charge for meetings and they have to be documented appropriately.” She pursed her lips as she stood in the doorway contemplating letting the man into her office. After a minute or two of looking him over she sighed and stood away, motioning for him to enter. ”You’ve got five minutes starting now.”

Miss Walters stated her services unavailable at this current time due to Ollie not making an appointment. However He was unaware that it was necessary to arranged appointment. Would he have known, he would have done so but he had been informed he would be able to come straight to her office. No questions asked. Thought Oliver should have known right from the bad, all the lawyers he met always want an appointment to made. Hopefully his charming smile could win her, should she every decide to open the door. And she eventually did open the door. Oliver was met with a very beautiful face which cause his cheeks into rosy red. Out of all the lawyers he meet in his life time, she had to be the prettiest one. However she went on to say that she normally charges and has the meeting documented. Ollie tinted his head and figured that something which lawyers were known for. Always wanting things to be documented in order to save their asses should something happen. Well if she wanted to be paid, that wasn't a problem in any way. "Don't worry, I'll be paying for the help, ma'am." Ollie stated as he entered the office and began to inspect the environment. His father once told him that a person's work space is a strong suggestion how one cared for their work.
Based on that, it seemed that this lawyer was a clean person and matched with her lovely appearance. Anyways, he didn't have time to judge or flirt with just five minutes. He turned around towards, facing his soon to be lawyer, hopefully. He removed another piece of papers listing money from his club and handed it towards the lady. "Before we began, I'm Oliver Queen. I'm the current C.E.O of Queen Industries. However, I just recently opened a new club named Club Paradise." Oliver paused for a second to gather his thoughts for his next statement. "Now my issue, is someone or maybe an employee is stealing money from my club as you can see by the numbers on the paper. Oh, where are my matters? I apologize, I forgot to ask for your name." Ollie said, realizing that he had totally forgot how to be a gentleman and went straight to talking about his problems. He grabbed the young lady's hand and kissed the top of her hand. Upon releasing his lips from her hand, he smirked and was surprised how incredibly soft her skin was. However, he should have figured such a beautiful woman such as herself, would have soft skin. Turns out, maybe five minutes was a bit to much time for Oliver to flirt but not enough of time to speak about his club and it's current money issues.

&& i won't be D E N I E D by you / / the A N I M A L inside of you / / - - - - - - - Once the man had entered her office Jen poked her head outside then shut the door quietly. The visit was peculiar and she never let herself feel too comfortable. Ever since being gunned down in the middle of Sunset Strip at noon in Los Angeles she had become a bit more cautious in her day to day life. After a few years of putting criminals behind bars and helping the innocent break free of them, Jen Walters had racked up quite a lengthy list of foes. She could never be too careful. Once the door was shut behind her she made her way to the desk and slipped back into her heels which added a good few inches to her height. She stood across from the young man and placed a hand on her hip. Even with the heels on she was significantly shorter than him. A careful eye watched him as he glanced around her office. What an odd man, she thought.
She took the papers that were being handed to her and skimmed them over. Once he announced his name, though, her attention returned to his light blue eyes. ”Oliver Queen, yes, of course. I thought you were familiar!” And suddenly she felt humiliated for nearly turning him away. Of the many high profile cases she took on and the wealthy clients she defended, Oliver Queen might have topped them all. Though he wasn’t from New York she knew all about him - everyone did. His name was one that was easy to find in the spread out in the headlines and tabloids. Now he really had her attention. She looked back down at the paperwork, this time reading over the figures carefully. ”It certainly looks that wa-” He had caught her off guard when he took her hand and planted a kiss on top of it. It was a little above and beyond the hand shakes she shared with the majority of her clients. ”I - er - Mister Queen, I’m Jennifer Walters, but you already knew that. When you knocked you - nevermind.” His smirk made her feel quite uneasy. It wasn’t that he was unattractive or that his chivalry was unwanted, it was just slightly out of place for the professional environment. ”Anyway,” She shook her head, a few locks of chestnut brown hair falling into her face, ”Not that I’m not flattered that you’re seeking my help but, if I’m correct, don’t you have a team of expert attorneys that work solely for you? Why come all the way to the city to resolve this?” She had a feeling Oliver Queen was going to get more than five minutes of her time.

She repeated his infamous name, stated she was indeed aware of him. In no shape or form was he trying to be arrogant but he has yet to meet someone whose hasn't heard about him. Mainly from the public point of view. However that was neither here or there at this current moment. Oliver surely like the idea that she was truly reviewing the current information but then again, that was to expected. Not to many lawyers like to screw the wealth but of course, there were some who tried to accomplish the task only to end in utter failure. Anyways, Oliver couldn't himself but to smirk after seeing the young lady face. Clearly she was unprepared to deal with Oliver and his consist flirting but she hopefully warm up to his playful side. He quickly removed his lips and hand from her's. She referred to him as Mister Queen, something Oliver never took a liking to but he did like her first name. "You don't have to call me Mister Queen. That was my father. Just call me simply, Oliver...Miss Walters." He back away from the young lady and stroked his beard, seeing it was time to get back to business.
She proceed to ask a question which indeed was true by all accounts. He nodded acknowledging the fact he had a special team in Star City, designed just for this purpose. But it was because of the team, that he brought himself New York in the first place. "What you say is true but." A small pause took place, as he wonder what he was about to say, made any sense towards Miss Walters. He crossed his arms then continued on, "I fear someone in my team of attorneys is working along side this thief. Reason why I say that is because a few of attorneys been disappearing for hours of the day. I know not all of them are in on whatever is happening but right now, I don't want to put my trust in them. Beside, I am not even sure even if what I am saying is true but I cannot really confront the attorneys and ended up with the results I want." Oliver explained his current situation and reason for going out of his way and traveling to New York in seek of her assistance. Of course, he could easily dress as The Hood and scare the living day lights till he attained the information he wanted. Plus, there was also the whole matter of simply firing every last of the attorneys but the innocence shouldn't suffer because of the guilty.
For once in his life, Oliver decided to handle this situation like a normal, honest businessman. Thus, he was here hoping he could end this matter, legally.
