Hair: Doom's hair is usually known to be short, and sometimes shaved. Being of Latvian decent, he has dark hair almost the color of black. He usually keeps it slicked back, when out of uniform. He also prefers his hair to be shaved, that way it doesn't bother him when he wears his mask.
Eyes: Eyes are a dark brown, almost black looking. They represent darkness, and cold heartiness.

Distinguishing Marks: Has large scars surroundings his face from a college science experiment gone wrong. Whenever Doom was fulfilled with his magic powers, his flesh was cured from metal alloys to keep the face in tact.

Appearance: Doom is described as a normal man in silver metal armor, with a green cloak and tunic over it. He wears a metal mask with rectangular slits for the eyes and mouth. His metal armor surrounds his entire body, shielding him from bullets and proving to be a great blast shield. Doom is a towering man, standing tall at 6'2, but can add another five inches with his suit of armor. Without his armor, he's very built. He can distort his face through magic, making his face rid of scars for a short period of time. The scars will stick with him for the rest of his insane life. Outside of the Doom suit, he's usually seen in all black. He prefers trench coats, and dark polo shirts.

Personality: Doom is an extremely vain individual, and spites Mr. Fantastic for being a rival to his genius. Some accounts say the explosion of his machine only caused one scar, which he could not handle, as "Doom should be perfect." He also places his own importance over others, and has no problem killing people when the situation calls for it, regarding life much like a game of chess. But Doctor Doom is a gentleman and is bound by his honor and pride. He seems to value science heavily, preferring to build machines that have the same function as some of his magic spells. The only people he's seemed to ever care for are his parents, vowing to avenge them once they were gone, and going to great lengths to reach whatever dimension his mother is trapped in.

Although a major threat to the Marvel universe, Doom can also prove a valuable ally. He has been seen to team up with numerous superheroes on numerous occasions, even his arch-rivals, the Fantastic Four. In most cases however, the alliance works in Doom's favor, and he will often abandon the person as soon as he gets what he wants. Such as when he helped defeat the god-like Beyonder, only for his plan to involve stealing the Beyonder's power.

Strengths/Abilities: While in his armor, Dr. Doom can lift (press) approximately 2 tons. He is one of the smartest men in the world and has an almost endless variety of weapons and equipment at his disposal. At the very least, Doom's armor contains a force field and concussion beams -- though more weapons may also be included. Dr. Doom also has the ability to switch minds with another person and he possesses a small amount of mystical knowledge as well.

History: Victor von Doom was born in a gypsy camp outside of Haasenstadt, Latveria. His parents died when he was very young. His mother, Cynthia, was killed due to a bargain with Mephisto gone wrong. After a noblewoman died despite his attempts to care for her, Werner von Doom and a young Victor fled on a cold winter night. Although Victor survived, his father did not. Doom sought to increase his knowledge of both science and magic in order to avenge his parents. In his youth Doom fell in love with a woman named Valeria, but she resisted his advances. As part of a bargain with the Hazareth Three, Doom had her sacrificed to gain him power.

State University in Hegeman, New York offered Victor a scholarship. While attending classes he encountered Reed Richards and Ben Grimm. Doom became obsessed with developing a machine that could project the astral form of a being into other dimensions, seeing it as a way to free his mother from Mephisto's clutches. Reed pointed out a flaw in Doom's calculations, but Doom arrogantly ignored his warning, feeling Reed was trying to upstage him. The machine exploded, scarring Doom's face. He was soon expelled for conducting unethical experiments. He blamed Reed Richards for this fault

Disgraced and bitter, Doom traveled the world. Eventually he came upon a small Tibetan village of monks who assisted him in creating a suit of armor. He returned to his homeland of Latveria to overthrow the leader and declare himself king. He then began to use his country's resources in order to further his plans of world domination.
