Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Lor flew over the greatest city in the world, it was all so vibrant, the lights, the people, the ...well, all of it. He could hear the city, it had a beat to it, like a heart. Well he could hear their hearts too, but you get the symbolism and such. He stopped above the city for a moment to listen some more. People, they were everywhere, doing everything. Maybe they were parents, or doctors, or teachers, it didn't matter. All of their lives weighed out equally to him, and since this was the truth, he could not ignore when a call for help was called. There were literally dozens of them at any one time. So he figured it was time for some work.
He zipped to the scene of a bank robbery in progress, they had hostages ...of course, he landed about half a block away and ducked inside of an alleyway. He ripped his shirt and pants off to reveal his newly made uniform. Blue with orange accents and gloves. On his chest the symbol of the Kryptonian Nightwing along with his belt which bore the House of El symbol on it, he reached down into the bag he brought with him and pulled out a thin headband customary on Krypton. He emerged from the alleyway and moved toward the bank again, it already had several police cars outside it and one officer in particular was yelling for the men inside to release the hostages. He ignored them for a moment and looking into the building counting out that there were six men, all with assault rifles. A sticky situation to say the least, they had the hostages lined along the teller's desk and had instructed them not to move.
Lor stood a few yards from where the police were and moved over to the officer with the megaphone and said to him. ''Anything I can do to help?'', the officer looked at him scanning him up and down. He caught onto the log on his belt and recognized it as the same one Superman wore, instantly he figured was there to help surprisingly. Ya know, cause every kid that walks up with some sort of Superman paraphernalia on is a hero. But no time for that, the officer immediately said.
''Yeah! There's six guys in there, high powered weapons, and hostages, any of you Justice League guys' help would be wonderful'', he said to Lor assuming he was a League member.
Lor began walking toward the door and before he walked in he waited for all of the men to face away from the hostages with their weapons pointed down or away, as this would probably assure no stray bullets would be fired. In the instant where this requirement was met, he moved in a flash utilizing super speed, taking about two and a half seconds to strip the men of all of their weapons. Luckily these clowns weren't smart enough to carry sidearms, not that they would have mattered. He stood there in front of all of them as they were amiss to what had just gone one. Then simultaneously looked up as if they all realized it was him at the same time. They watched as he crushed the barrels of all of their weapons, and he in turned watched as five of them fled and were met by the officers outside.
The one that remained, perhaps clinging to some sort of pride, chose to rush Lor and began swinging wildly. Lor's eyebrow arched as he dodged easily and then dropping the guns in his hand, delivered one solid punch to the man's chest causing him to curl over and clutch himself, nothing was broken, just some swelling. Lor looked around to the hostages as they all stared at him. He began to say something, ''Um, is everyone o-'', he was cut off as they all jumped from their seated positions and they surrounded him and carried him outside on their shoulders.
He laughed as they sat him down and the police officers joined their celebration. They let him down off of their shoulders and began instantly asking questions about who he was, ''Nightwing'', he replied before taking to the sky once more to move onto the next job.

ANNA MARIE ROGUE
Rogue had finally decided to get out of the base in New York they stayed within. She and Mystique had been in the area for a few weeks now and it wasn't all smiles and sunshine. After three days the young woman ventured from her room, free from the psyche within for the time being. Even since she had absorbed Ms Marvel's powers Rogue had been plagued with the psyche and memories of the blonde woman. She was angry, terribly angry with Anna. She had stolen her life all with a touch. Rogue's mutant power was absorption. She hadn't the flight, strength, or invulnerability before that day she made contact with the super hero. Anna had been able to enjoy those powers after touching others but she hadn't held on like this time.
She had always enjoyed flying. It was her favorite ability to steal, that was no lie. The strength was quite handy and even the reflex to anticipate her opponent's move in battle. But she cherished flight. It was as if it was her wings. A caterpillar turned butterfly. Flying allowed her to escape the troubles of her daily life. The struggle of sanity, the attention from Mystique- her mother. Rogue had started to see that she was being used for some things that didn't seem right. But why would Anna go against her foster mother? She had taken her in when the humans drove her out of her home with their weapons. Rogue continued to do things she questioned due to the gratitude she had towards Raven.
The wind whipped her brunette hair around her face, her white streak cut through the clouds. Rogue looped in and out, all around the pieces of white. Her lips were wide in a smile, her green eyes had been closed. She hadn't been paying attention to anything. There were no planes in sight the last she had opened her eyes and she wasn't going fast enough to catch up to one. Rogue didn't even think she was in the altitude they flew. So when she crashed into someone and barrel rolled in the sky it took her by surprise. She snapped her eyes open as she regained her composure. Her gloved hands were clenched in fists, angry she had been interrupted. She caught sight of a young man and the first thing she thought was how attractive he was. Still.
"Hey! I was flyin' here!" She exclaimed barely sounding angry at all.

Chris was scanning the area below and had found his next point of interest. A group of thugs were robbing a small group of girls walking home by themselves. He was about to move down into proximity to help but was struck in mid flight which threw him off. He looked up to see a beautiful young woman with a white streak of hair and a thick southern accent, it sounded like satin to the ears. But she was angry at him for bumping into her. Now was not a time to counter with a snappy remark, so he chose to approach differently. ''Uh, I'm sorry, I was looking away, I should have been paying attention, you aren't hurt are you?'', he asked politely, immediately he knew she was not a regular human. First off she could fly, second, when they collided, she didn't get hurt, which noted quite a bit of power.
He looked her over one last time before speaking again. ''I'm Lor-Zod El, but you can call me Chris'', he said extending his hand to shake hers. How narrow minded he was when confronted with a pretty face, he was supposed to be out here saving people, and he was distracted by a young lady with a nice smile and pretty eyes. He looked her over again, her form seemed human enough, so he assumed that is what she was and nothing more, after all, this world was host to many genetic experiments and such, so this may have just been commonplace. He would figure it out for himself though.
Perhaps she could even help him find his way around the city, so that he could stop as much crime as possible. Who knows, she could have been a hero as well, but knowing this he also knew that she could be a villain, but he was prepared to deal with each eventuality.
