"Victory is MINE Baldy!
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
And if you had any hair I'd take that too!"
Hair: Short brown hair, if it gets long it starts to curl in an almost thick fro like manner. Usually he keeps it cut short but if it does grow out he slicks it back.
Eyes: Michael has brown eyes, with flecks of grey.
Height: 5 feet 11 inches
Weight: 195 lbs.
Distinguishing Marks: none
Appearance: Michael has a footballers (soccer player) build. A strong core, thick arms and legs but not abnormally thick. His body is long and sleek without any blemish. He has intense Brown eyes that have flecks of grey that didn’t appear till his mutant abilities manifested. There really is no proof other than that to the connection between his abilities and the flecks but he likes to say its somehow where he draws his power. He tries to stay clean shaven but also thinks that unless he has to go out to something special there’s no reason to, as long as he doesnt look like grizzly Adams. His face has strong features that can soften when he lets his guard down which usually only happens around those he cares for. He keeps his hair cut short because when it gets to long it starts to curl in a fro like fashion. If it does get a bit long he will slick it back to keep this from happening and to look at least a little like a gentlemen.
Clothing wise, Michael likes to keep it simple, leather jackets, t-shirts and jeans and a necklace with two nail crossed, known as a Martyrs cross. He doesn’t see the need for some kind of showy style when he tries to mostly keep a low profile. He also doesn’t like how people use their style to show who they aren’t instead of who they are. In his eyes people try to define themselves by their style and usually get it wrong.

Personality: Michael isn’t the normal rich kid, in all honesty he doesn’t really like his wealth and is kind of embarrassed by all the glitz and glam his family enjoys. In all actuality if he had his way he would live in a two story house with his family, going to a normal public school and driving a used car he bought with his normal job while he tried to struggle through his first couple years of Uni. Of course that’s not exactly the case for someone who was born into a family like his but he makes the best of it. He goes out of his way to wear clothes that aren’t as nice as his brother and twin sister who wear the best in style clothing. Any money he gets from his parents he usually uses for other people, be that taking his rugby club out for lunch, or helping get his Footy team the kits they need. He is the kind of guy that would rather help everyone else then really spend the money on him.
This of course stems from his strong faith in God. He is the kind of guy that goes to church regularly and even helps with audio/ visual at his church here and there. He tries to stick to a code of honor he created in his mind through his readings of the bible and even when he is in his masked persona he only kills if it is required. Nothing pains him more than taking life no matter what. Yet along with this Michael also realizes that with what his abilities are he is in a unique place and uses them to help others as much as possible.
There is another side of him though, a side many have not seen but he knows all too well is there. It’s a side that goes along with his love for motorcycles, his need for contact sports and his desire to be away from everything. This rebellious side is one that he has kept to himself and his father’s knowledge because for the most part his mother would be heartbroken if she thought her son did not appreciate the life that they had laid before him. She never seemed to understand that he had his own mind, goals and understanding. Something his father knew all too well.

Powers:
Shadow teleportation/Darkness Separation: Michael is able to move into shadows, separate himself at the atomic level and reform anywhere he wishes as long as there are shadows in that area. Also in darkened rooms or at night Michael can separate his atoms and actually teleport distances.
Cloaking: Able to move around unseen in dark areas, such as night, shadowed rooms, dark rooms and the such
Weaknesses: As per usaul, if a room is fully lit, or his in the middle of the day his abillities are either weakened or negated completely. At this point he has to work with his skill instead. This can also be done with spot lights, however because these cause shadows aswell Michael would still be able to atleast teleport to different areas.
Weapons Michael's weaponry consist of two short swords made of Carbon Steel with an Adamantium core. This was something he got as a souvenir from a shipment his father had acquired threw a government buyer. Each of which is engraved with the Latin words for justice and punishment. Other than these he also carries a set of self-designed throwing knives.
Strengths/Abilities:
Close combat weapons expert
Accomplished writer
Free runner
Strong memory
Quicker then normal reflexes due to intense training for sports as well as his free running
Weaknesses:
Women
Children
Love

History:
Michael Donovan Mullenix was born April 5th 1990 with his twin sister Ellie. They’re parents were two wealthy and well known owners of the strongest trades group in the oceanic and Indian Ocean areas. Because of this Michael was brought up in a lap of luxury, something his sister and they’re younger brother, born two years later, took to very quickly. Yet while they fell into the cricket matches, the upscale parties and such. Michael found himself wanting less rather than more. Instead of Cricket Michael went and joined a upstart Rugby league in Perth, then a Footy (Australian Rules Football)team. He became engrossed in Football (soccer) even. His brother couldn’t understand it and his sister only went to games with him to gock and flirt with his mates. And while his sister went and bought expensive clothes he went out and would rummage through the half off bins. Getting worn jeans, band t-shirts and beat up leather jackets. It wasn’t that he wanted to look less it was more that he wanted to look normal.
Yet that wouldn’t exactly be easy as his fourteenth birthday arrived and Michael found himself falling into a shadow of a tree in they’re estates grounds and winding up back in his bedroom. He had freaked out and what was worse both his brother and sister had witnessed the moment. His mother was beside herself and demanded he be seen by the families private physician. Both Michael and his father did not believe it was exactly the best thing but she demanded it so it happened. When Dr. Mullen arrived it became clear just how different the boy was. Not only was he falling into shadows and teleporting to other shadowed areas but when the doctor tried to get a blood sample he found that it had become hard to actually get the needle into Michaels skin. What was worse was when he did the needle broke off the vile all together. After that It became quite clear to the family that the son who wanted to be normal was anything but. They’re reactions were mixed. Michelle. Michaels mother, was beside herself, believing that it was somehow her fault. Yet the rest of the family found it more interesting then anything. Ellie wondered why she didn’t have the X-gene as well, and Draven wondered exactly all his older brother could do. This started something deep in their family. Mum started to drift away while the rest of the family became closer together. Draven and Michael would go out and try to sharpen his skills while Donovan and Ellie started researching different mutants and exactly what it all meant.
What was odd though was that the only question Michael really had was if God allowed this to happen to him, what exactly was he meant to do with it. This simple question bothered him for years as he moved through the next couple of years. Everyone had decided that it was probably for his best interest if he didn’t tell any of his mates about what he could do, due to the fact that, even though there were mutants in Australia, they weren’t exactly prevalent and understanding was still in its premature stages. Yet even as he moved along he still wanted to know what he should do with his gifts. It wasn’t till he was twenty one that his father approached him with an idea.
By this time his mother had distanced herself so far from the family she was actually living in another home all together in Sidney. She felt that this was all her fault and even though everyone saw it as interesting and even exciting she couldn’t understand it all. Grieving the distance of his wife Donovan came up with an idea that he thought might actually help his son with the burning question he had and bring the family back together. On a Sunday after church he took his family out for dinner, wife included, and presented them with the idea. There was a school in America that specialized in mutants, a place where Michael would be able to live a normal life, not hide what he could do or who he was and even get a strong education in the process. He even tried to sweeten the deal with his son by telling him that if Michael wished he could do his own thing. Live how he wanted, as long as his father would be allowed to sustain him monetarily still. In Michaels eyes it was an exciting idea and he took to it quickly. What none of them knew was, was that he had begun working on a project after hearing his father talking on his mobile about the school. If he was going to New York, he knew how he was going to start using his abilities for a greater good…..and when he got on the plane, his plan began.
"Next time guys, we should just
rebuild this place outta Lego."
rebuild this place outta Lego."
Writing Sample: Michael walked down the street, hands deep in his pockets as his eyes moved over the rain soaked streets. He could’ve driven his “new motorbike” that his father had gotten him as a going away present but he had decided not to. It wasn’t that he didn’t mind the rebuilt 1950s style Hog, in fact he had caught himself drooling at the thing as it was rolled out to meet him when he had arrived at his new loft, in the arts district of the city. It was more the fact that he didn’t want to draw attention to himself, no matter how big this city was they had to realize when someone knew when someone new was wondering around right? He’d rather not come roaring down 5th avenue with the bike when he could just as easily blend into the masses moving around. Which at that moment had carried him to an area filled full of café’s and enticing smelling bakeries. How long had he been walking? How long had it been since he had gotten off the plane? It was odd to think that he hadn’t exactly just appeared here, though he knew he couldn’t because he didn’t know the shadows here well enough, at least not yet. His dad had talked him mum into letting him finally move out, telling her he was going to a special school in the USA where mutants lived and learned. Of course what Donovan Mullenix hadn’t told his wife was he had bought Michael his own apartment and given him enough money in his bank account to not have to work for a good couple years. He was also given the OPPTION of going to the school. It wasn’t required and he liked the idea that his dad was on his level. It was pleasing to know that his father wasn’t up his ars about what was going on in his life. His father understood Michael didn’t exactly care for the glams of his families world, and being the only one to manifest mutant abilities so far Donovan had decided it was time for his son to go out and do what he thought was best with his abilities.
Though what his father hadn’t, couldn’t have known was what Michael had on his mind to do with them. The very idea brought a smirk onto his face as he moved down the crowded side walk. This citry was where everything was happening. Where Mutants were the most prevalent, where crime had skyrocketed after the odd occurrences the summer before. From this point on he was going to do something his dad would have never dreamed, something he hoped would change things for the better.
