I feel the need to clarify that I don't exactly thread to just thread, Normally If I can not weave my plots into it I do not join. With that being said, The following happens to be my long standing main plot or parts of it. Yes it follows the ending of the Avengers film seeing how this is what everyone online seems to expect. Any who.
First one needs to understand how I not only view but use the events in the film verse. I not only use Film canon but Mythology as well. (yes it bugs me till no end that Laufey is his father when in Mythology Laufey was the name of his mother)
Thor film
Canon, all of it, Still has the Casket of Ancient winters in his possession where no one else can wield it , nuff said <pushes the film to the side> Moving on.
Avengers Film
All of it, Every action used was but apart of a grander scheme which I will address later. Now let me break it down.
-It was Machiavellian plotting at its finest, Even though he Lost, he still won. It was but a hollowed victory for earth. He was never looking for a throne on earth, what would be left to rule had his plan 'succeed'. Nothing. Rubble.
-Earth is but a distraction for Thor, Why lose the greatest weakness against one's greatest foe?
- Loki appears and steals the Tesseract. The Tesseract plays a much larger role then just an energy source for the portal, But Loki himself If one pays attention. There are moments of " Clarity" Which are hinted at in the film by a subtle change in eye color from blue to green. If one pays attention. The spear, which by design is clearly nothing from Asgard and given to him by "the other". For plot sake, I am running with a film adaption of Annihilus who has the cosmic control rod in the comics. Case in point, Loki's scepter, Which provides a direct link to the Tesseract no matter its location or distance from him.
-The Capture, He clearly could have escaped. A master of magic would not unwillingly be bested by mere mortals. Cap and Tony mention this on the Quinjet just before Thor shows up. An He willingly lets Natasha Assume that she has just obtained the plan form him. Loki is the god of lies…you think he really got played by the Black Widow? Nope, he Wanted them to know what the plan was. An It happens, regardless. The Avenger's are powerless to prevent it.
- Son of Coul's death, Plot Device to bring the avengers together. A lie from Fury.
- The Defeat at NY, Its was exactly what he wanted, well They collectively wanted. Thanos, Loki, Annihilus. The reason for it. Loki was looking for a way back to Asgard, he could not just willingly appear to give up. Nor is it in his nature to.
Post Film and Head`canon
- Asgard, This is where the Real fun begins. Once back upon the realm eternal. Loki was imprisoned for his crimes. Yet once again we back track to the master of Magic bit. The one thing Odin never did in the comics was strip either of them of their title. An Loki was never stripped of his magic. Ever. (well not that I remember, Feel free to correct me with ample proof. The more you know~) Here, he escapes, and being the trickster that he is, Loki knows back doors through the realms, avoiding Hiemdall's Gaze.
- Return to earth. He is Looking for the Scepter. It is not only a crucial key tool/weapon but the power has become an addiction. Withdraws are not fun for any thing. Once he has the scepter, Loki plans to return once again to Asgard, to make an attempt to use the power of the Tesseract to defeat those who find him and Steal the Infinity Gauntlet. Which is in the trophy vault along with a various collection of other mystical items like the Eternal Flame and the Eye of Agmotto. ( if any one wishes to bater with him for one of the items fell free.)
An Thats what I have Right now. Possible continuation of this in to an attempt at Ragnarök is possible. Want to get in on this as a hero, or try an aid him. Feel free to reply to my plot page. or here.
