Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

[style=padding: 0px 10px;]One could only imagine the look of pleased surprise when Joker was gifted with information on one Dr. Bruce Banner, it looked like this other world had it's fill of quacks too! But this, this was pretty damn beautiful, this was something else entirely. Sure Scarecrow had huffed his own toxin enough that he turned into that big ugly Scarebeast, which was pretty hilarious to watch running around. Look, it's the great pumpkin Charlie Brown! Oh but no, even Scarebeast wasn't, he didn't even know how to explain it......it wasn't nearly as fun as this. This poor bastard, this stick with glasses, he turned into a big green rage monster when he was upset! And the angrier he got, the bigger he became, a raging monster that got stronger as it grew angrier oh it was just beautiful. It had Joker shaking in those worn out shoes of his, just the thought of getting his hands on those capabilities and then letting it loose. He needed to do it. He needed to do it badly. Oh Joker wasn't going to be able to rest until he had used that power for a good long laugh, he just needed to know a little more. A little more research, money changing hands to a few people, a few more stabbed and strapped to bombs and the like and Joker had found just what made the monster tick, it was the adrenaline. The ideas were flooding him, swimming through his head, this and that and this as well, possibilities with more possibilities on top. Delicious. And then he picked one, and it was too good to let go, too tooooooo good to not put into action. He rounded up his clowns and they took a drive to New York, willing to make a house call for this one. The Joker watched, waited, the day Bruce Banner made the mistake of walking down that alley, the monster was theirs. Broad daylight, middle of rush hour, Joker was brazen enough to have his clowns pull up to the man, with a slide of the door and a quick snatch they dragged the poor doctor into the back of the van, "Helllllooo Dr. Banner, its ahhhh its such a pleasure to meet you! Oh you just.....just don't know how much of a faaaaan I am of yours," He sounded very close to fawning over the man at the moment, standing in the back of the van and holding onto the side to keep his balance as they drove through the alley and up the actual sidewalk. Wouldn't do to get stuck in traffic in Times Square, no no no. He could hear people screaming from outside, his goon at the wheel laughing as people dove out of the way, another two in the back with him to hold the good doctor down, "Well, it was ahh pleasure to meet you, but we have an appointment to keep don't we?" The needle was produced from the coat of his royal purple pocket, a potent mixture of hallucinogenics and adrenaline that the Joker had concocted himself just for this occasion. Before the other man could protest Joker had stuck the needle in and depressed the plunger. As soon as he was sure he had gotten the last of the juice out, they stopped the van, slid the doors open and unceremoniously pushed the man out. Jumping out after him, J dusted off the shoulders of his coat, slid his hand through his greasy green hair and stood back to watch the show, ignoring the people staring at him, they were going to be wishing they had kept walking soon enough. -------------------------------------- OutfitBruce was having a very bad day. He'd just witnessed a man get down on one knee and propose to to Betty. When Bruce witnessed this, it broke his heart into a million pieces. He knew she had to move on, but Bruce was still stuck with his love for her. The skinny and pale man walked more and more, trying very hard to accept the fact that he'd lost the love of his dreams. After walking down the populated street for sometime, Bruce was immediately grabbed. Before he could even react, he was thrown into a car by the clowns. The car immediately darted down an alley, full of people. Bruce's heart began to race rapidly as he was held down against his will, "LET ME GO! YOUR LIVES ARE IN DANGER!" yelled Banner with mere honesty in his eyes.
Before Bruce could even see what was going on, he was face to face with an odd man. A man who had his face slobbered with paint, and not to forget the tangly green hair. "What are you trying to do... Wait what the hell is that!?" asked Bruce through worried words. The Joker was preparing an injection, and suddenly it was forced into his arm. "NOOOOOO! STOP IT!" he yelled. As soon as the needle met Bruce's vein, Bruce's heart rate watch went haywire. He immediately felt the effects of the drug that he was given. Becoming paler by the second, Bruce was then forced out of the car, smacking his face against the gravel. He was surprised he couldn't feel the impact. Unaware of his surroundings, Bruce's watch continued beeping.
The sudden flow of gamma infected blood began to spread throughout his body. Bruce yelled in pain very loudly, over the sound of the busy New York streets. His transformation started, as his large tree trunk-like arms grew and grew and grew. His skin started turning a perfect shade of green. After the transformation was complete, the Hulk panted very heavily. He then gritted his teeth very tightly, but was then fazed by a nearby horn from a taxi. Not only was the adrenaline intense, but the hallucinogens that were present in the needle made Hulk very paranoid, and hallucinogenic. Hulk sprinted at the person who was laying in on their horn, and with a sheer slap of the hand, the taxi went flying doing multiple flips. Hulk yelled so loudly with rage, it sent all the civilians run in a panic.
Policemen arrived at the scene and began shooting their 9mm pistols at the Hulk, which caused zero damage. This just enraged Hulk even more, sending him even more into a blind rage. Sprinting at immaculate speeds, Hulk dove at the police officers. He swiped at the police cars sending them flying, along with the officers. He grabbed an officer and threw him into a building injuring him very badly. More and more policemen and women arrived. The sounds of the sirens, pissed the Hulk off more and more. Bullets started to piece the Hulk's green flesh, but was absolutely absorbed. He covered his face, and withstood the bullets very easily. A police helicopter shot rifle rounds, making Hulk pick up one of the police cars and launch it in the air. The police car was chucked so high into the sky, that it destroyed the main propeller, making the helicopter spurt black smoke. "WERE GOING DOWN, MAYDAY MAYDAY!!" yelled the cops. Hulk wasn't going to stop until all of New York was destroyed by his hands.

Post by Natasha "Black Widow" Romanov on Feb 6, 2013 22:26:57 GMT -5
The call had come in so suddenly that Natasha hadn't really thought of how she would react...she'd simply reacted. Even before she could be told to head into New York to deal with the situation she was heading out toward the hanger, her legs carrying her past everything before her brain had time to catch up with the rest of her body. All she really knew was that the threat was in New York, that someone had spotted the Joker...and that a massive green man was now on a violent rampage that could potentially level the city if they weren't able to act quickly. Sure, there were perhaps other agents who were closer to the area to respond, but it was almost personal to the red-head by this point. After all, when he was able to focus, that hulking green monster was generally on her team.
It was a dangerous situation that she was heading into, there was no denying that. She could remember her previous encounter with the uncontrolled Hulk in the Helicarrier, knowing that he had nearly taken her life if it hadn't been for the timely interference of a certain Asgardian. But again, the Hulk had become a member of the team when Doctor Banner had arrived in New York during the invasion that Loki had set forth, proving to the agent that he really was someone they could lean on when the situation called for it. And while she wasn't the type of person to immediately suggest unleashing the Hulk on an enemy, she had to admit that the big guy had his uses in chaotic moments like that had been. He'd saved Stark too, she couldn't forget that, for as much as she disliked his arrogant personality and constant attempts to anger her, she did not wish him dead.
"This is Agent Romanov, I'm heading into New York," she said into the headset, taking her spot on the plane and began to ready for movement. "All other agents in the area are required to stand down until otherwise ordered. I repeat, all agents stand down." It was a feeble attempt to keep some people alive until she was able to get there, she knew that. And there was no guarantee that her presence would be able to improve the situation...for all she knew, she'd just anger him even more. But if there was even a chance of being able to get through to Bruce, she had to take it before she looked for alternatives. Knowing that the Joker had been spotted wasn't making the whole thing sound all that promising though, especially after her little meeting with the Batman only a short while before.
"All other agents dispatched to New York are advised to move to Hanger 4." She didn't know who else would be called, but as soon as the engines were warm, she was gone.
(( I've left this a little open, with Nat not yet leaving the Helicarrier, to allow for more agent or Avengers characters to get onboard the plane before it leaves. Anyone who wishes to partake in this thread can jump in, but my next post will have her arriving in New York to confront the Hulk. ))

Wonder Woman was not in the best of moods. After the elephantine extravaganza staged by the Gods to destroy mutants, the last thing she wanted to do was take her eye off the sky. The battle had happened and now there was a quiet lull pouring through the environment. It was an uneasy stillness, like the kind of quiet that appears before an immense storm rages. Diana’s core was visibly shaken by the event. She blamed herself. There was no one else better in their new universe to help control the Greek Gods better than their female champion. But she had failed those that had placed their utmost trust in her.
Many were hailing her and her compatriots as heroes, but the Princess felt more could have been done on her part. There were too many innocent mutants that perished in the untimely bloodshed and their memory would not soon leave Diana’s weary brain. Now, she was in New York again, attempting to see if there was any sign of a further attack. The heroic magic users that she spoke with today didn’t feel anything blooming eerily on the horizon. It seemed like the Gods were taking a break from using their cosmic abilities.
Wonder Woman could not believe for a second that their conquest was finished. In fact, she knew they were reconvening and discussing future preparations to dismantle mutant kind. They had the sort of power to wage an ongoing war unless they were stopped on their own soil. Diana had not found a way to break through onto their astral plane again. They effectively had it barred from all those who could walk the astral plane and meet the Greek Gods on Mount Olympus. Who could blame them? As soon as even a small opening to their world was perpetrated, they knew there’d be those hungering for severe vengeance. The Gods did not want to get caught up in this sort of cross fire.
Therefore, Princess Diana of Themyscira was left to defend the Earth from the Gods and try to consider her next line of offensive attack. There were no leads left. The last one to check was with the Fates, who anxiously had given the original warning message to Wonder Woman’s mother. But why would they bother helping again? Their place was not to interfere, but to instead keep an eye on ongoing history.
The champion of the Gods finished up speaking with her magic counterparts in a small building nestled in the heart of New York. It was a magic shop for those that dabbled with realistic, tangible magic—like Zatanna. As she was finishing up her peaceful talks, suddenly a cop car blasted through the glass storefront and Wonder Woman had only a second to dodge out of the way before the car went barreling through magic displays.
The Gods were clearly attacking again! The on-edge Wonder Woman commanded the magic users to hide in their back room as she went to work. Diana was dressed in her full costume but didn’t have her amazon armor, shield, and sword like before. Instead, she had her typical tiara, bracers, Lasso of Truth, and sheer willpower. The JLA member burst out of the store and quickly gathered her surroundings. She saw pure chaos—not unlike what happened in the days before when the Gods attacked.
However, the only thing missing was the presence of creatures. Instead, she saw the hulking goliath that had distracted Medusa easily ripping into the streets of New York and causing widespread panic. People were running for their lives and as one man was running, he stopped when he saw Wonder Woman taking in the scene. The civilian male grabbed her shoulders, hysteria etching his wide eyes.
“You gotta do somethin’, you gotta, Wonder Woman… the freaking Hulk is loose. The Joker did this. Can’t y’a call in the Bats or something too?” the male cried.
“I will see what I can do. Please do not panic, go inside this building and the magic users in the back will keep you safe. Go!” Wonder Woman dictated.
The male wasted no time and headed into the store. Wonder Woman waited to make sure he got in okay and again shifted her focus to The Hulk. Was this… vile green creature… a friend or foe? It was hard to tell based on previous experiences combined with the current bedlam he was erecting. Regardless, there was no time to think about that. Friend or not, he needed to be stopped, as did the Joker. Wonder Woman planned on being the one carting Joker back to Arkham Asylum—where he belonged!
Joker seemed like an insignificant insect compared to this Hulk man. Diana wasted no time and shot through the air towards Hulk’s position. Though she had helped him come back from his stony grave via the Stone of Athena, she thought it wouldn’t have been a bad thing if the Hulk had been turned to stone now. Diana flew mach speed towards the Hulk’s raging, unprotected back.
With strength that had helped realign a planet with Martian Manhunter and Superman, Wonder Woman slammed her full, superhuman weight into Hulk with her shoulder. If she could even just cause a distraction so he would stop wreaking havoc, it would give emergency personnel just enough time to evacuate fleeing people from the scene.

The Hulk was on a mad rampage throughout the city, swiping and punching at everything that moved. People ran for their lives as the Hulk chased after them, throwing them like ragdolls. Yelling at the top of his lungs and punching holes through everything, the green monster grew every second his anger rose. The nearby crashing helicopter burst into a skyscraper, emitting a loud explosion which rocked New York. The Hulk barreled cars from left to right, with one swing of an arm. With only a few casualties at hand, more and more people became injured when they were face to face with the green hulking monster. The Hulk's mentality and vision, were a complete wreck. The hallucinogens caused Hulk to attack anything and everything that moved with brute force.
The billowing smoke from the helicopter crash continued, as people swarmed out of the building to safety. Policemen and women continued to shoot at the ravaging brute, only piercing the outside layer of his green skin. The powerful gamma cells would then attack the bullet, dissolving it completely from the Hulk's body. The policemen and women blocked the Hulk from entering the main street where people were being evacuated to safety. This angered the Hulk causing him to charge at the checkpoint, which consisted of multiple police vehicles blocking the way. The policemen and women shot from cover behind their driver side doors. Before the Hulk could make contact with a large fist, a massive power sent the Hulk flying through a building making him tumble like a barrel.
The Hulk slowly stood up filled with rage. He eyeballed the young woman that attacked him, but soon smiled weakly. Hulk lifted a large piece of rubble from the building he flew through, and launched it at the young woman. The large rubble happened to be the size of two cars. Hoping for impact, the Hulk charged at the woman, withdrawing a large fist.

Wonder Woman’s force managed to plow the Hulk back. The carnage the feral creature caused to the buildings around him was substantial; she swore to get revenge on the Joker for all of this. Before she could contemplate further vengeance, the madman was throwing giant deposits at her. She crossed her bracers in front of her face and braced for imminent impact.
The rubble slammed into Diana’s magic bracers and parts of the wreckage cracked. The blunt force sent Wonder Woman’s grounded heels shredding backwards. The Hulk’s fist was next and came crashing into Diana’s body like an unnatural sack of bricks. The power of the punch could only be described as Superman-worthy. In fact, she hadn’t felt such a blast since she last sparred with Kal.
The blunt force sent her flying backwards, where her back crashed into a parked SUV. Glass shattered and steel crumbled at Wonder Woman’s back meeting the unfortunate vehicle. Her teeth gritted not in pain but more in dismay. That was one hell of a punch, but Wonder Woman wasn’t about to let Joker’s green goon get the best of her.
Her fists clenched and she pushed herself off the totaled SUV. Wonder Woman saw firsthand as to the kind of destruction the Hulk could withstand. He was a fierce beast, deadset on destroying anything that seemed like a worthy opponent. If Diana wasn’t angry, she’d actually be flattered. Wonder Woman grabbed the SUV she had just crushed and picked it up like a bag of potatoes. With a loud grunt, she flung the vehicle at the Hulk.
If he could play throwing games, then so could she! First things first, she needed to figure out what the Hulk’s weakness was by trying him. Some hated fire, some hated blunt objects, others hated piercing weapons—what was his? Thankfully, Diana didn’t feel too worried about the jade ape learning HER weakness; he didn’t seem like the brightest crayon in the box.
While the SUV was hurtling through the air, Wonder Woman took off her magic-imbued, god-blessed tiara. She charged at the green fiend, wielding her tiara like a medium-sized dagger. Perhaps his weakness was magic?
“You call yourself a hulk? Well, it’s about time you met the She-Hulk!” Wonder Woman growled.
Granted, Diana had no idea that a real female Hulk even existed. Regardless, she lunged at Hulk’s massive green chest with her tiara-born dagger, hoping to drive it into his thick skin.

Post by Peter "Spider-Man" Parker on Feb 16, 2013 1:56:20 GMT -5
Sometimes Spider-Man's spidey sense tingled. Sometimes it blared louder than a good-morning foghorn to the ear.
When the hulk was involved, his spidey sense certainly did not tingle. Sometimes he wished he could just put the damn thing on mute.
Peter's every muscle was twitching for action, pulling him in every direction. There was so much destruction, but his first priority upon arriving at the scene was to rescue and evacuate the people he could, get the civilians to safety at the very least. He didn't know about the Joker or Wonder Woman just yet, all he could hear was the sure (terrifying) roar of the Hulk and how much he knew he was going to hurt tomorrow (if he made it to tomorrow, that is).
Cross your fingers, Peter... and say your prayers.
"Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, never let it fade awayy. Catch a falling. Star. And." Peter hummed along as he literally caught people falling out of the broken building. One by one he caught them with a quick stream of web, only to toss them onto a net he'd spun only moments earlier. "Put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day-" he grunted, heaving a batch of men in suits onto the net, seamlessly stretching between two lower buildings nearby. Sure, some people lost their lunch, but you couldn't please everybody.
Finally, Peter exited the gaping burning hole inside the skyscraper to toss his last New Yorker into his alleyway trampoline net. Thanks to the fire-escape, they could all climb down safely once they remembered which way was up.
"Alright you two, break it up! Break it up! You're wrecking my fair city here!" he chimed in, swinging nearby and perching himself on the side of a building near the two titans of strength displaying their massive hatred for SUVs against the other. Seriously, he REALLY hoped that guy had insurance. Although something was telling him Geico didn't have a Hulk clause in their contract agreement, not that he owned a car and would know.
Spider-Man shot multiple rapid-fire web lines at the Hulk on each of his limbs, in hopes to pin him down somehow to get a chance to appease the Bruce Banner inside.
"Hey, lady. I've met She-Hulk and I'm preeettty sure you aren't her. She's my lawyer, I would know."

Hulk's massive large punch successfully nailed the titan, sending her back a long way. He beat his chest, roaring very loud releasing all of his anger through his roars. He remembered the woman from the invasion of Medusa, and has since wanted to finish the job. The Hulk clenched his fists, trying to endure the adrenaline that flew through his veins. Hulk's anger increased to its maximum, making his muscles bulge. Suddenly, a large SUV soared through the air heading directly for Bruce. The Hulk withdrew a clenched fist and slung it, sending the SUV tumbling across damaged roads of New York.
The speed of Wonder woman sent her dagger like object deep through the tissue of the Hulk's shiny green skin. The Hulk collapsed to one knee, as the woman had continued digging deeper. Bruce clutched the small wrists of the woman with both large green hands, and tied hard in prying the dagger from his chest. Hulk continued to resist, as she applied more power to infliction of his wound. The green monster clenched his teeth as the dagger slowly started to slide halfway out of his chest, but was suddenly interrupted. From out of nowhere a sticky, but strong web-like substance splurged upon the Hulk's face. The web got in his eyes, his nose, and his mouth making him take his hands off the woman's wrists immediately.
As soon as he removed his hands from the Wonder woman's wrists, the dagger continued to shove deeper into the Hulk's wound making him roar very loudly in pain. The large monster flexed every single one of his chest muscles, hoping the muscles would destroy the dagger. Oddly, the dagger wouldn't break. With both hands back on the Wonder woman's dagger, he slowly began to pry the weapon back out of his chest. With the dagger fully out, Bruce grabbed the Wonder woman by her throat and slowly started to squeeze, but at the same time lifting the other fist clenching it very tightly hoping to swing. "Alright you two, break it up! Break it up! You're wrecking my fair city here!" The Hulk looked up at the spider, and roared very loudly. Releasing his strong grip from the Wonder woman and tossing her aside.
The Hulk ran at an abandoned police car, and grabbed it with a single hand. He slowly lifted it above his shoulders, and launched the vehicle at the Spider that dangled at on the side of the building, "HULK SQUASH BUG!" The large green monster watched as the car ricocheted off the building, causing it to crash inside. The Hulk didn't know whether he hit the bug, causing him to leap onto the building where spidey had been present. The Hulk climbed into the entry hole from the car, but saw nothing but a few civilians hiding. Roaring out of sheer anger, the large monster punched through every window trying hard in finding the bug. Whilst the Hulk looked for Spiderman, this would've given the Wonder woman time to either attack or configure a plan in bringing Bruce back into reality from the Joker's lethal dose.

[style=padding: 0px 10px;]This was going just swimmingly. More then swimmingly. He didn't even have a word for this except glorious. Totally and utterly glorious. Let's see that strange man in green say he didn't know how to create chaos this time around! Oh that had been a catalyst here, having his good name sullied like that, he needed to step up his game, so that was what the obnoxious clown did. Poor little scientist man in the suit, he was just a victim of circumstance, it would have been sad if it wasn't so utterly hilarious, but just look at that big green monster go! Joker had perched himself on top of a van parked not too far from where the big green rage beast was tearing the city apart, kicking his feet with an almost child like merriment, pointing and laughing as the Hulk brought down a helicopter. A freaking helicopter! J was sure he couldn't have asked for anything better, this way beautiful, oh so beautiful in it's sheer level of brutality. Harley was going to be so mad that she had missed out on this sort of fun, but that was what the she-clown got for flittering around with nitwits like Poison Ivy. Go he hated Poison Ivy. It was going so well, and then the woman showed up. Great. Wonder Woman. He had to wonder what she was going to do, waggle her tatas in the monsters face? Seriously that outfit.......and he thought his fashion sense was obnoxious. Maybe the Hulk could take the star spangled stripper down a notch, oh yes! Yesyesyesyesyes, hurt her Hulk! From his seat Joker cackled at the thought, clapped his hands and laughed and laughed at the idea, smash smash smash, Hulk was turning into his new favorite plaything. There was a momentary frown though, quickly he pulled out one of his small bombs, scrawled on it with red lipstick he had stolen from a dead woman a few days ago, 'Not funny,' before throwing it at the woman. Oh and then the spider, well it was becoming a party now, too bad even the Joker thought spiders were nasty, "SQUASH HIM, SQUASH THE BUG," He had a bomb for this too, letting loose a few smaller smoker bombs before rethinking the idea, Joker always came with a few toys after all. After a moment of rummaging in his pockets, smoke bombs, smilex bombs, small regular explosive bombs with large red 'X's on them were flying all over the place and in the middle, Joker was laughing, laughing mad like he couldn't stop, almost hysterical. Dark, soulless eyes wide with his laughter, oh he was going to die here, die laughing at the lovely picture he had caused. [style=padding: 0px 10px; font-size: smaller;] Tag: Hulk! Open! Post by Dinah "Black Canary" Lance on Feb 17, 2013 19:49:38 GMT -5
DINAH LANCE BLACK CANARY Dinah Lance has been in New York for a few days now for nothing other than shopping. Well, and to see all the wonderful sites the city held and had to offer... But mainly to shop. Gotham was home and quite frankly it was one place she didn't currently want to be. It was grey and dark, something she wasn't in the mood for at the moment. There wasn't much there that kept her grounded to the area so she would hop on her beloved motorcycle and take a road trip. Besides with the worlds having merged she had a chance to see the other world heroes. She had gotten to experience a villain by the name of Carnage a few weeks ago and that was something to write home about indeed.
The blonde bombshell held up the dress in front of her as she moved through the boutique. It was a pale yellow color that she wasn't exactly in love with but the cut was one she favored. She heard what sounded like a deep guttural roar which caused Dinah to pause in motion an glance up as she waited to hear the sound again. She turned in time to see a car go flying past the windows which left the women in a panic and Dinah with her eyebrows raised in confusion.
That wasn't supposed to happen. Dinah handed the dress to a startled worker and quickly moved to the side exit. On her way out her eyes did spy a pair of heels that would look really good on her with a dress that sat in her closet. She made a mental note to get back to them once this car tossing crisis was averted. The cool rush of New York air pushed her blonde hair above her face, her jacket to dance in the wind. No matter though as she had the sleeves at her wrists before the door shut.
The jacket was discarded as she pulled the shirt from her body as well as her pants. Underneath was her unitard that left little to the imagination. Her boots were what she wore out though her pants had covered them completely. Her bare legs felt the cold time and time again as te fishnets she wore didn't exactly keep her warm. She picked her jacket up and put it on quickly as she removed her gloves from her pockets and onto her hands.
She stepped out of the alley as she finished adjusting her gloves. She heard a roaring voice which caused her lips to contort in a confused expression, right eye squinted ever so slightly. Black Canary spotted the source and froze for a moment. The Hulk, she had read his profile back at the Watchtower. Bruce Banner's Hyde. It was a rage monster, one that Black Canary wasn't all too sure on how to handle. If all else failed she'd use a particular metagene she was born with. The world class fighter saw the red and blue clad hero known as Spider-Man move through the air as well as seeing a fellow member in Wonder Woman. At least she wasn't the only one on the scene. Then she heard a voice she was all too use to.
Dinah's head turned to the left and saw the Joker as he let loose an assortment of explosives that the Canary was out of range of, lucky her. The Joker would be dealt with, he was not a problem that registered on Dinah's register any day of the week. The Hulk was the issue as he was currently destroying New York and some of the best shopping areas!
"Keep laughing Joker, we have a date to Arkham when The Hulk is taken care of," Black Canary yelled to the madman as she started her walking to the action. She was one of the best fighters, if not te best, in the world but that got her no where at the current moment. She would be able to dodge but grappling was in no way on the events section tonight. Her legs moved quickly as she sprinted to the main event and stopped several feet away. "Get out of my way!" She shouted to the heroes in warning.
Black Canary clenched her fists as her feet were shoulder length apart, brows furrowed. Her chest puffed outward as she drew a deep breath in before she opened her mouth and let loose her Canary Cry. A sonic blast that rendered and disrupted many, the blast that was aimed towards Banner.

The Hulk continued to search for the four-legged creature he'd seen through his hallucination. He bashed almost every window in the building trying hard to find the spider-like creature. The Hulk finally gave up, but turned his attention to the loud bangs that were heard from afar. Looking over, the Hulk watched as a large Jack in the box(Joker and the van) chucked bombs every time it popped out of its box. The terrified green monster roared very loudly, as he started sprinting at the large Jack-in-a-box. The monster soon threw a large punch sending the van, that Joker was standing on, bouncing across the damaged pavement.
Hulk beat his chest, not caring if the Joker made it out alive or not. The Hulk ran at the van and started pounding it with large fists. Pieces of the van spewed all over the pavement, as he continued pounding the van with all his might. From out of nowhere, a loud screeching noise pierced the Hulk's ears causing him to immediately cover them with both hands. The hulking green monster, turned around very slowly eyeballing the young woman that was attacking him. The screeching noise continued to penetrate through Bruce's ears, bringing the large monster to his knees growling, and trying hard to roar over the loud noise. The Hulk peeled off the open door of a taxi cab, and tried to block the sound waves. The window to the door shattered immediately causing the sound waves to get in through the open area. The large monster tossed the door like a Frisbee at the source of the loud noise, hoping it would soon stop.

The fact that the Joker had been sighted in New York around the same time as the Hulk would have registered on a greater scale to Natasha at almost any other point in time. But of course, this was not one of those times. Banner had managed to lose control again, for whatever reason, which meant that the lives of thousands upon thousands of people were at risk because he was not in control the way he had been when they had worked together during the invasion. That was her job at that moment, to try and find a way of connecting back with the Hulk and bring Banner back into some frame of mind that would give him back his control, a way of minimizing the damage that would otherwise happen. With so many lives in the same area, she knew that she needed to act quickly in order to spare them from repeating the horrors of before, from scaring innocent people for the remainder of their lives..."All agents, take warning...Wonder Woman has been spotted in New York and has already engaged the Hulk. I repeat, Wonder Woman has engaged the Hulk."
A Russian curse fell from her lips as the last agent scrambled aboard the aircraft and the door closed behind them. Someone like Wonder Woman, however good, would only aggravate the problem more and potentially make things a hell of a lot worse for Natasha when she finally did arrive in the city. The Amazon wouldn't know the triggers that the Hulk had, nor would she understand that there was a man somewhere underneath all of the raging green exterior. Now the fire had really been lit, and the urgency that Natasha had previously felt had almost doubled in the pit of her stomach as she flipped switches and guided the aircraft toward its destination. There was no time to waste at all, no time to stop and consider a reasonable plan of action the way she might have in the past. Oh no, things were far more serious than that...and if the Joker was involved, she could only imagine what kind of mess would be waiting for her when she finally did arrive in New York.
Perhaps it was her intent on making it as quickly as possible, or maybe she managed to tune the rest of the world out completely, but the flight to New York took almost no time at all. As soon as they had landed a safe distance from the chaos, Nat had unbuckled her belt and dashed out the door, not bothering to let it open fully before she took off in a dead run. Toward the noise, toward the roar that she knew came only from the Hulk. No other creature had the ability to shake everything within a twenty mile radius just by opening his mouth like that. She'd experienced the feeling of her own chest rattling against the sound waves, and she had been far closer to him than she was now. A hand reached up to her earpiece. "I'm going to try and talk him down. I want agents on the lookout for the Joker, and I want him taken down." Her feet continued to carry her forward as she got even closer to the madness, taking note of everything around her as she went. The Joker had to be around somewhere, admiring his handy work from a safer distance....but it wasn't just Wonder Woman that she would need to deal with. The web-slinger was there as well.
And another, a blonde who opened her mouth and quickly made Natasha want to cover her ears a little against the highpitched sound that came from her throat. Great...someone else to worry about. "Stop!" she called, approaching the blonde from behind. "That's only going to make him worse." Her bright blue orbs turned to look at the Hulk, lifting her hands slightly to show him that she meant no harm...it was a dance she had already tried once before, and though it had failed, Natasha was determined to try again. "Doctor Banner," she said carefully. "Doctor Banner, I need you to look at me."

The magic that coursed through the tiara’s veins seemed to work better than ordinary steel. Perhaps this was his weakness after all? A touch of magic. Before Diana could count her blessings, she felt her throat being crippled by the Hulk’s powerful grip. It felt like a million Superman hands were all tied around her neck. She muscled her neck as tightly as she could, but the weight of his grip threatened to crush her visage.
A hero she didn’t recognize popped in and saved her from the Hulk’s ravenous hands. She was tossed aside like a child’s plaything. Quickly, Diana stood up and rubbed her neck. She retrieved her tiara that had been used to stab the monster and pressed it to her forehead again for safekeeping. Wonder Woman was about to take chase and hinder the Hulk’s prescriptive rage but she noted a fellow JLA member appearing on scene.
“Oh thank goodness she is here,” Wonder Woman mumbled to herself.
Black Canary unleashed her resonant scream, attempting to bottleneck the Hulk’s attempt at destroying the red and blue swinging superhero. The scream pierced the air like a million knives; the sound erupted into Wonder Woman’s ears but she was used to the deafening noise.
Clearly, the monstrosity wasn’t enjoying the piercing cacophony. The Hulkster lobbed a taxi cab door at Dinah; Wonder Woman’s vast superhuman reflexes kicked and in two seconds she streaked by Canary, grabbing the door before it could make impact on her dear friend. She set the taxi door aside and maneuvered back to Dinah’s position. There was a redhead trying to calm the Hulk down. Was she mad? Clearly, this was a monster dead set on utter destruction regardless of where he was! Why was she trying to reason with him!
Diana’s muscles tensed, waiting for the green hellion to unleash his violence on this poor, idiotic woman. Wonder Woman turned to her friend, Black Canary, and shook her head.
“Has this woman lost her marbles? This philistine will not back down to youth and beauty. He is a crazed horror that needs to be felled, once and for all!” Diana angrily spat.
Clearly, she was missing the big picture. Wonder Woman didn’t know that a little scientist of a man lived inside the cursed green freak. Whenever she saw something that was causing rampant destruction, her main ideal was to kill it.

HULK SQUASH BUG!
Well it didn't get any clearer than that. His hands went up defensively, "Spider no want be squashed. Spider good! SPIDER GOOD, GOOD! OH GOD-"
Peter's eyes went wide as Hulk held a police car over his head. He released his weblines immediately and reacted to jump to the police car, onto it (using it as cover from the Hulk's eyes), and finally using the momentary improvised island-slash-shield-in-the-air to spring towards the hulk's feet, flipping forward in a perfect display of his spider-enhanced acrobatics. Peter was just relieved there was nobody inside that car. Battling the Hulk was enough work without having to play defense as well.
Get out of my way!
"You don't have to ask me twice, lady. JIMINY CRI-" Yeah Peter wasn't prepared for that. His hands snapped for his ears, still ringing after Dinah had finished her canary call. Because of it, he didn't hear the joker's hysterics. If he did, he thought he was just imagining a clown voice in his head. Luckily he hadn't taken a direct hit, and was lucid enough to to avoid the tramplings of Hulk's feet as the green brute was struck. It was looking to be a pretty damn good team up of Hulk herders: brawn, brains, brass, and beauty. Peter was relieved he didn't have to do this all by himself. The blonde seemed familiar though, loud, but he couldn't quite remember where he had seen her before. Meh. He shrugged it off for now. He didn't want her to get upset and use that call on him if it was something important, like saving his ass or something, or forgetting to call. Both would be bad.
He figured someone might as well answer Diana. "Well, you're half right, warrior princess. This guy is fifty percent jolly green giant, and fifty percent little guy. Its a Dr. Jeckyll and Hyde sorta thing. Listen to Widow, she's kind of this big guy's keeper. They're coworkers in a sense. -Oh right, I'm supposed to be helping too. Shoot. Gah, that ringing! Shoo! Shoo, I say!" he whacked the side of his head a few times. It was seriously throwing off his rhythm.
Peter sprang himself next to Widow and put up his duked just in case. And by dukes he had two cartridges of electrolyzed webbing at the ready. He figured it was appropriate, Widow with her own set of electric claws, and since Petunia had her bio-electricity, Peter was feeling severely left out of the buzz. Bzzt, get it? Buzz!

Hulk continued to become affected by Canary’s cry, but not for long. The more Dinah continued with her loud cries, the angrier the Hulk had gotten. The exceeding amount of adrenaline withered through his body making the large beast much more dangerous. The LSD that was also injected took effect on the Hulk’s mindset, making him incomprehensible towards his fellow teammates. The large brute of a monster wasn’t going to stop until everyone was dead, and until everything was destroyed. The LSD caused the Hulk to see everyone as Chitauri invaders, bringing him back to that horrific day.
Hulk continued to hold out his hand towards the cry, trying hard to block the paralyzing sound waves. The large monster suddenly felt another flow of adrenaline burst through his muscles, causing him to stand up and roar over the loud Canary cry. The Hulk slammed both fists upon the pavement, revealing earthquake sized cracks heading towards the Black Canary. He quickly leaped from the ground, and soared right over his attackers landing directly behind them. Bruce glared at Wonder Woman continuing to feel the large amount of adrenaline, and threw a large devastating punch that connected straight to her face. The woman barreled along the pavement like a ragdoll, and collided straight into a building. The power behind the punch was so strong that it would’ve done justice towards an incoming asteroid.
The Hulk roared loudly as he eyed the Black Canary, Black Widow, and the bug. He listened to Nat’s words, letting his green orbs meet her blues. Hulk panted heavily, letting his breathing slowly die down. The LSD gave another kick, causing his panting to quickly come back. He quickly grabbed the Canary by her throat and slammed her hard against the brick wall of a building, ignoring Widow and the Spider. He roared loudly, and raised a large fist hoping to clobber Dinah. With a mere sling of the wrist, the large fist directed towards her face. The power behind the Hulk’s fist had the ability to squash the Canary’s head like a watermelon. WORDS 353 TAGGED Everyone NOTES I was trying to re-up the thread, so I took Wonder Woman out if that was okay with everyone TEMPLATE BY WE WERE INFINITE ! OF CAUTIO 2.0
