Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Wonder Woman watched as the snakes descended on Raven. She knew if the young girl was bit, that it would mean certain death. Diana was about to leap into action and start slicing off heads of the wicked vipers but was surprised when Raven’s other form dispersed as a defensive mechanism. The magic possessed in Raven’s soul self blasted the wily snakes. They hissed and snapped at Raven’s form that their puny brains couldn’t begin to understand. All they knew was pain. Great, intensive pain.
Meanwhile, Diana watched as Sinestro’s false army started regaining control of the mythical creatures on the ground. He, himself, was working as the spearhead, slicing and dicing enemies. Diana was eternally grateful to Thaal for his ongoing support. These days, she thought her former enemies were a greater help than her own Justice League!
As Medusa’s head wailed back from the sheer force of the magical intensity of Raven’s soul self, Hulk plowed into the gorgon’s face. The collision of beast arm with mega face created a sinister sort of FFFWHAP noise that echoed through the skyscrapers. Medusa’s howl of pain was even louder. The smack sent Medusa reeling backward, where she quickly regained her footing by using her hands to clawhold a building.
Medusa was angry. Her generally unseen face frowned as she turned her attention to the green giant mercilessly attacking her. Compared to the other ants on the field, he was at least the King Ant. She sent her right hand forward and grabbed Hulk like a doll in her massive hands. Medusa started squeezing the angry beast with increased fervor, laughing as she did it.
Wonder Woman used this opportunity of distraction to catapult herself into the air. With sword and shield handy, she found herself at Medusa’s giant, pulsing throat. The normal way to kill a gorgon was to cut off their heads! Diana launched her sword horizontally at Medusa’s throat but the meager, metallic sword didn’t even break the skin, no matter how much the warrior princess threw her back into the slice.
“Curses!” Wonder Woman groaned.
Just as she realized her attempts weren’t working, one hand that had been holding the Hulk came free and slapped Wonder Woman like a fly away. Diana crash landed onto the surface of a skyscraper. She quickly gathered herself and flew back to where Raven and Sinestro were positioned.
“I do not know what will kill this beast, but I am going to find out. No matter what happens, keep Medusa occupied with everything you have got! I feel this green creature alone is enough to keep her attention elsewhere, but she is intelligent. Once she finds me trying to string the Lasso of Truth around an appendage, she will be furious!” Diana told her two allies.
And with that, Wonder Woman dropped her sword and shield and instead wielded her golden lariat. She grimaced at Medusa’s spectacle and knew once she could wrap the rope around her, that certainly Medusa would meet her demise. The Wonder Woman flew in the air and began the torturous process of trying to wrap Medusa’s leg with the Rope of Truth.
Though Medusa was busy trying to squeeze the hell out of the Hulk, she still wagged her enormous leg about, making sure that Diana couldn’t wrap it. Wonder Woman wouldn’t give up. Not now, not ever. It was up to her compatriots, now, to assure that all facets of the gorgon were distracted.

[atrb=border,0,true][style=width:430; height:490; background-color:000000; padding:5; text-align:justify; font-family:verdana; font-size:11px; color:78747F; overflow:auto][style=float:left; margin-right:10px] Threats tended to bring out the violence inside Raven. Especially when those threats were demonic in nature or origin. It was like walls were being closed on her from every side and the Titan simply could not take it. To be fair it was a brilliant defense mechanism when it did react. Even if it left Raven's body under threat it was unlikely that her soul-self would let her die. It did take effort to keep it from blasting her friends as well as the monsters around her. Sinestro and the green thing were near and Raven gritted her teeth. Her power wanted to hit everyone. Focus
Of course, Medusa was the main foe and that did mean that the dark raven focused on that threat, clawing at the snakes and blasting them with the darkness of the teenager's own soul. Evil hated everything including other evil. Then the overwhelming presence was moving back with a wail and Raven dropped to the ground, her cloak falling around her as the soul-self vanished back into the teenager. It had taken an effort against such a foe and for such a time. The green creature's anger was not helping either and Raven wanted to remove it from him. It was hurting her. There was laughter and Raven looked up from her crouched position. It appeared Medusa had the wrath filled green creature.
The fight was still going on. She had to get up. Stumbling to her feet, the empath was unsteady. The Titan was not used to being without the support of the Teen Titans, specifically Gar. It made this difficult. "Right... fight..." |
[/b] The teenager muttered, teleporting away from an attack just at the last minute. Why was the green one feeling so much anger? Raven clutched her head as she reappeared, further away from the group - trying to collect herself. A scream interrupted her small time of peace and once again Raven took away more civilians. Still shaken, Raven returned to Sinestro's side. It may be closer to the green being but Raven knew that if she remained in the battle, the support of someone else would be needed. “I do not know what will kill this beast, but I am going to find out. No matter what happens, keep Medusa occupied with everything you have got! I feel this green creature alone is enough to keep her attention elsewhere, but she is intelligent. Once she finds me trying to string the Lasso of Truth around an appendage, she will be furious!” Raven nodded although all the fight had gone from her eyes. The teenager would not be unleashing such power as she had earlier without a catalyst. If the threat became too great once again or if that thing kept feeling rage and it became too much. If the worse came to the worse she would absorb his anger into herself. At least then after unleashing it she should have some peace. With her thoughts distracted by Medusa and the over powering emotions, the teenager's guard had been let down. A minotaur knocked her over and she was flung back several meters landing on the ground with a groan. Remaining still for a second, Raven teleported, just in time to avoid a weapon that was about to be brought down upon her. Escape was possible but the Titan was not going to leave. Distraction. Wasn't that what Wonder Woman had asked for. What could she do for a distraction? Reappearing in the air, Raven hung for a few seconds. Maybe she could create an illusion based of Medusa's emotions. She had done it to Jericho, making him see all the Titans dead, just was he wanted. It was strong enough that the insane former teammate and plenty of others had believed it was true. Even Cyborg until he touched the illusions. Plus it didn't involve actual fighting which Raven was not faring too well at. So Raven gave it a shot, attempting to find Medusa's emotions beneath the strong glow of the green monster. Most of the emotions seemed bathed in a red light but there was green from Sinestro and soon Raven picked up the emotions she was looking for. Now to see if the illusion would work.[/style] tags:OPEN word count: ??? muse: Thunderbirds notes: Nice posts! Note on Raven's empathy and colours, it was seen in Team Building with emotions having colours; the same used for the Lantern emotional spectrum. Illusion is pretty much as it says in the description. Raven's illusion was seen on TV and was based of what Jericho wanted to see. Table Layout By BRY, 2012[/style][/td][/tr][/table][/center]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/bluemiddle.png] As his army protected the amazons in a way they never would in real life, Sinestro continued to fight off anything that got too close to someone he cared about. He didn’t care that the monsters were vicious and relentless- he was happy to cut them down like flies, splattering them against the pavement in an almost villainous way. Hey, he rarely got to use his full power, and when he did, he always had to cut himself short before he killed someone. At least recently, anyway. But there was still a part of him, however weakening, that continued to long for ultimate victory. For that sensation of really doing a good job by completely eliminating the opponent. As far as battles went, it was the one thing that Sinestro still could not agree with- leaving the bad guys alive.
These monsters were brainless and hardly a threat to him, but he would take the opportunity to enjoy himself where he could get it.
If nothing else, at least he got some practice in.
Diana seemed to struggle with the massive creature she had helped unleash. It was a tough beats, and its snakes seemed the least of their concerns. He had smacked quite a few of the heads away, trying his best to help keep Raven from harm. While she was powerful, and capable of taking care of herself, Sinestro knew she would be useful to help end the monster looming over them. If she could find a way to use her magic with Diana, then they would likely find a solution to their tricky little situation. So he would help keep up diversions and defenses until they managed to hatch a plan of some kind.
Which seemed like it might take a while.
Diana had an idea to use her lasso, and Sinestro was fine with keeping Medusa distracted. It was true that the Hulk seemed highly capable of being just annoying enough to be a bother to Medusa, but a little extra help never hurt, right?
He used his will power to create a massive ray gun, the technology Korugaran and not human in design. Sitting on top of the massive machine, he directed it up towards Medusa’s head, firing off a massive blast of energy right at her face. It might not do much more than sting, but he was certainly enjoying himself. Being a distraction, instead of the leader, wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be. Still, he did prefer being in charge of a situation. Being a follower with still a relatively foreign concept to him. He continued to fire the large ray of green power at Medusa, intending to keep it flowing as long as possible. With the way his ring was beeping, though, he imagined it wouldn’t be as long as it was needed.
Ring levels: 21%
“Yeah yeah,” the green lantern mumbled, still positioned in the gun. With the army and the gun, his ring was draining of energy much more quickly than it normally would have. Still, it wasn’t like his lantern was far away- only a pocket dimension between them in a case of emergency. He would just have to make sure at least a fraction of a percent remained in his ring, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to summon it. Something that had already happened once before, and was good to avoid happening again.

The Hulk successfully deadened a shot at the giantess's cheekbone, causing her to fall back on her ass. The roaring intensified as the Hulk went mad nuts, beating his chest, and just loving every moment of this battle. The hulking monster charged at the giantess through the debris field, but was suddenly snatched up by her large hand. The Hulk tried hard not letting the large fingers squish him upon the palm. He held his tree trunk like arms up, trying his hardest not to be squished. The anger and adrenaline increased, causing the Hulk to bulge with pure muscle. The giantess's laughter pierced the His ears, making him even more angry. The Hulk used his mega strength to pry open the hand, but the slack withdrew at the exact same time causing the Wonderwoman to be flicked like a fly.
The Hulk grabbed a taxi cab, and laid all his force into prying the automobile apart. He grabbed both halves of the car and used them as gloves.(Brass knuckles) The automobile gloves always caused more damage when Hulk faced a rather stronger enemy. Being at a good vantage point, the Hulk leaped into the air, and landed on Medusa's head, where her vipers were present. The vipers began to snap at Bruce, but were dodged off with the car gloves he was wearing. Each time the snake struck, it was met with a large brutal punch to the face from what used to be a taxi cab. The Hulk leaped from the hair of snakes and landed on the bone of Medusa's hooked nose, "HULK SMASH!" yelled the loud creature, as he landed both fists onto the bone. Before the Hulk could jump off he was suddenly snagged by a viper. The viper chewed at the Hulk's shoulder, inserting its large fangs. The Hulk screamed in pain, but was quickly released from the viper's mouth. He fell hundreds of feet, and suddenly landed with a large impact. The impact was so loud, it could be heard over Medusa's loud footsteps.

The beauty of teamwork was starting to shine through. Wonder Woman’s attempts at lassoing Medusa’s legs were becoming easier and easier. Little did Diana know about what Medusa was seeing. After her snakes envenomed The Hulk, sending him booming to the ground, Medusa had no time to feel victorious. Raven’s illusory ability was taking over Medusa’s mind. Her gorgon eyes saw what would always be true: the Gods favored Wonder Woman.
In Medusa’s head, and only Medusa’s brain, she saw an equally sized giant Wonder Woman appearing from the ground. The giant Wonder Woman that only Medusa saw rose until she was face to face with the gorgon. Medusa desperately tried to turn the behemoth to stone, to no avail. This time the illusioned Wonder Woman laughed in Medusa’s face and started to strike her snakes.
What was ACTUALLY striking the head of Medusa was Sinestro’s powerful energy blast wallops. Medusa struck her hands out at the invisible Wonder Woman. Though Medusa thought she was striking out at a huge Wonder Woman, everyone else would see her striking out at air. Raven’s illusion was working as was Sinestro’s pounding!
The real, six foot Wonder Woman finally tied up Medusa’s leg with her Lasso of Truth. Her muscles tensed at trying to keep the gorgon grounded by the lariat. Diana wasted no time and yelled her answerable question loudly.
“MEDUSA! What will kill you, foul creature!” Wonder Woman hollered, still gripping onto the rope.
No one could lie when pressed with Wonder Woman’s magical lasso, not even the gorgon sent by the Greek Gods themselves! Medusa raised her eyebrows and shook her head as the truth started spilling out.
“The Stone of Athena and hero’s might. Strike me down my head out of sight,”[/size] the robotic, controlled tone of Medusa called out.
The strange riddle was simple enough. The Stone of Athena touching the gorgon’s skin plus another trying to rip off her head was sure to send Medusa back to death. Wonder Woman had left the Stone of Athena inside the now empty convention center. She recoiled her lasso and placed it at her hip once more. With efficient speed, she flew into the building, grabbed the Stone, and came out.
Medusa was still being affected by Raven’s illusory prowess. She again flung her massive hands out, striking at the invisible foe. Wonder Woman was quickly at Medusa’s side and pressed the imbued Stone of Athena to Medusa’s hip. The stone that had made her strong now made the gorgon cry out in immense pain.
Wonder Woman could feel an otherworldly force trying to pry the Stone out of her strong hands. It seemed like even the Gods were interfering now. Diana held on as if her life depended on it—she was not about to back down, even it was to the Gods themselves…
As she clenched her teeth, baring down on the stone with every ounce of strength she had, Wonder Woman called out to her peers.
“SINESTRO! Keep barreling down with those blasts! RAVEN! Revive that… green creature, he has been poisoned!” Wonder Woman roared.
The blasts that Sinestro was using was weakening Medusa with each blast. They needed one last push on her head, and Diana was confident that once the green creature was revived from the snake bites, he would certainly provide that last push.

Raven could sense that Medusa's attention was not on her or Sinestro. But things were not going too well. Even as she had worked on the illusion, the Titan spotted the green monster take a hit. The landing had been loud but the teenager was unable to do anything. Truth be told, she feared the green creature more than she feared Medusa. And it was for good reason. Medusa could only kill her or turn her to stone. The rage from the creature could corrupt her. But now was no time for emotions and she pushed them away.
The illusion was getting stronger and Raven could now see the giant form of Wonder Woman. It was amazing that the Titan's distraction was working - Raven felt so weak. She suspected that the illusion was only strong enough to be seen by Medusa and slightly by herself. Any further and she might collapse. Watching the green from Sinestro, Raven's attention flickered to Wonder Woman. The Justice League member had to get this done quickly or Raven might have to stop her illusion. At least the green beast wasn't feeling so much emotions in its injured state, as much as Raven disliked herself for that thought. “MEDUSA! What will kill you, foul creature!”
The Titan sighed as she heard Wonder Woman's voice. This would soon be over and then her powers would no longer be needed. “The Stone of Athena and hero’s might. Strike me down my head out of sight,” Raven's eyes rolled back for a second and the illusion faltered before her eyes. Hopefully not before Medusa's own eyes. “SINESTRO! Keep barreling down with those blasts! RAVEN! Revive that… green creature, he has been poisoned!”
Desperately the teenager looked at Wonder Woman. "I can't..." |
[/b] She whispered, staring at the monster. The teenager did not wish him to die but her powers did not heal the fatally wounded. Raven had no idea whether it would kill the both of them or if she would end up hospitalised. But what if she could save the creature? Would it be better for the world. Flying down before the creature, the Titan placed her hands on it's skin. There was so much pain from the venom. Already she was weakened from the fight and the illusion guttered to a stop. "Azar protect us. I know that my prayers have not been heard by any good, but please guide me so neither of us dies. Father, Trigon, if you are listening... I suppose I would ask the same of you."[/b] The teenager prayed. Then she started to try and take the pain onto herself. It hurt. Raven screamed under the pain. The creature may have fallen in silence but she was not as strong. She wanted to collapse, to crawl up and die. Anything to get away from the pain. Could she inflict it on Medusa? No, she could hardly concentrate on that thought, let alone let it play out. She had to hope that some force may save her and the green monster she was trying to heal. Or that some strength may allow her to let go of the pain that she allowed to flood into her. [/style] tags:OPEN word count: ??? muse: Celtic Music - Legend notes: If anyone wants to knock Raven away I'd be most thankful. Don't want her to die. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/bluemiddle.png] The tide of the battle seemed to be shifting in their favor bit by bit. It felt as though they actually had a shot at shutting down Medusa and making the streets safe once more. This thought became a much more potent one when the monster announced how to kill herself- that was helpful. At least the lasso wasn’t only designed to completely embarrass people. For once, he was glad she had that tool.
Wonder Woman barked her knew orders, and Sinestro complied. He would not be the one to trip at the finish line and blow the race for the lot of them. So he continued to hold up his attack, even as his ring trickled down from twenty percent, to fifteen, and then to ten.
Sinestro’s army vanished. It had done as good a job as it was going to in keeping the masses safe and obliterating the rest of the forces that had been still attacking. Whatever was left would have to be dealt with by the amazons and the others, as Sinestro had to focus what little remained of his power in his attack. His machine set up disappeared, the Green Lantern focusing on pure ring might as he continued to blast the monster with a giant beam of energy. Now he had every last ounce of power pouring into the attack, which was hopefully enough to knock the monster senseless enough for the Hulk to finish things. Assuming the Hulk COULD finish things. It seemed like he was still lying on the ground like a sack of useless green flesh. Still, he wouldn’t deny that, should he manage to get up, his unprecedented strength would be just the ticket in finishing their fight.
Especially since his beam came to an end, his ring beeping and flashing as it warned him that less than one percent of his power remained, expressing keen interest in an immediate recharge. Something he would be happy to do once he found a good place to pull out his power battery.
His plan was interrupted, though, when he spotted Raven attempting to revive the monster with her powers. He knew how her healing skills worked- he knew she was killing herself trying to get the Hulk back on his feet. And after all the magic she had already used? Was she completely insane? He knew Wonder Woman probably didn’t know about her limits, but for Raven to try anyway, despite the cost? Sinestro couldn’t go waddle off to hide and recharge when she was literally going to kill herself saving someone else. So with what little remained of his power, he flew over to Raven, blasting her with a small burst of green energy from his ring. It was not painful, but was like a gust of wind, sending her away from the Hulk. His aim was not to wound her, after all, but to ensure she did not continue to harm herself.
“That’ll have to be enough!” he told her, “you’ll kill yourself! Are you insane?! That green monster’s not worth-“ his eyes widened at that moment, before shifting down to his side. There, he saw a massive snake head, its large fangs digging deeply into his red flesh. It whipped its head and tossed Sinestro to the side, releasing him and sending him crashing into the street. Smacking into the ground, he bounced slightly before coming to a stop on his stomach. His green power faded from around him, his uniform dissipating from around him, leaving him in his civvies- a blue and black suit mostly similar to the green and black one.
Damn… he had wanted to see what was going to become of medusa.
He closed his eyes, feeling his senses blur and fog before blacking out completely. He imagined it wasn’t so bad- at least he had done what he could to help. And he was not someone to let something as simple as poison kill him. No, he was far too mighty for that.
So he would have to find out about the conclusion later.

Hulk continued to wither in pain from the fast acting venom. The vemon continued to attack all of his major organs, but was soon backed off by the gamma cells. Hulk yelled and screamed as his blind rage had risen to an all time high. The screaming hulking beast suddenly felt a cold hand touch his arm. From out of nowhere, the Hulk's pain slowly faded away. He looked over into the titan's dark eyes and watched as she became weaker and weaker. "BETTY!" yelled the Hulk as he held out a large hand. Suddenly, a quick Sinestro blew the titan away. The Hulk looked at the red man and roared.
Standing up, Bruce charged at the lantern withdrawing a large fist. Before his fist could meet the face of Sinestro's, a viper had snagged the lantern. Hulk plowed his large fist into the face of the viper sending Sinestro across the pavement. The viper continued to strike at the Hulk, with large fangs hoping to pierce his skin once more. As soon as the large serpent struck, the Hulk grabbed onto the head. The snake tried hard in shaking the Hulk off like a riding bull. Holding on tight to the neck of the serpent, the monster swung around the large neck of the large Medusa. The large Medusa grabbed hold of her neck, and began to gag.
The Hulk tightened the grip so hard, that he could feel the head of the snake starting to rip off. The large woman's face began changing to a dark purple color. The Hulk roared loudly over the loud gags, as his large muscles continued to strangle the helpless Medusa. The hulking green monster, pulled and pulled until the woman continued to shrink back to her normal size. As soon as the woman was at normal size, he snatched the helpless woman up by the neck and squeezed. He roared loudly in her face, and tossed to the side like a large sack of potatoes. He then turned around, and looked at the wonder woman dead in the eye. Continuing to roar loudly, the Hulk charged at the young woman throwing a large green fist, "HULK SMASH!"

Is that all I am? Am I really Just a . . . a clone?

Post by Conner "Superboy" Kent on Feb 13, 2013 11:52:44 GMT -5
Superboy, although he kept fighting, didn’t bother joining with the others. He was, after all, the clone of Superman. He didn’t need there help. and besides they had that giant green monster thing for muscle for now. Not to mention taking on an entire army seemed to him at least to be more of a challenge than one giant Medusa which he, being as stubborn as he was, thought he could easily defeat. As he fought rage, anger, confusion, all of the things he had been feeling since he had been created, since he escaped Cadmus, roared up inside him and he used it against these monsters. The confusion of being a clone. The loneliness and anger from Superman not accepting him and ignoring him almost all the time except for when it was absolutely necessary. The anger and confusion of not understanding his own emotions and feelings as well as everybody elses. Hell hounds. Minotaurs. Hydra’s. Chimera’s. Empuosa. Harpies. Manticore’s. All of them. They kept attacking over and over in waves upon waves. They were like some kind of endless army. As the army Sinestro created began attacking and continuously stealing his kills, Superboy saw his chance. Raven had been doing her illusion and soul stuff which meant no one was getting the other civilians to safety and there were plenty left. Superboy became little more than a blur that was practically impossible to follow if you yourself were not a speedster. Seemingly out of the blue five empty double decker busses were on the scene. Superboy had brought them and now every second there were at least ten new passengers in it as Superboy filled it each to it’s max capacity. A minute later the busses were gone as well as practically every bystander. Unknown to the other heroes fighting, the busses now sat in the middle of the French Square in New Orleans, Louisiana. He had bring them somewhere far away from New York City or they would still be able to look in Medusa’s eyes. Of course, he over did it, but he had to pick somewhere and he couldn’t bring them to Metropolis. There was nowhere to put five double decker busses that he knew of that wouldn’t cause a five car pile up or something.
Now back on the battle field many monsters looked at him with pure rage and and their eyes were filled with murderous intent as they snarled and growled. Superboy just stared back fearlessly. these were nothing. It was only the sheer number that was the problem, not that Superboy would actually think it a problem. He was much too stubborn. He turned into a blur using his super speed. Greek monsters died in the masses. They seemed to just drop dead because he was going to fast to see what he was actually doing to them. Then he ran straight into a twenty foot minotaur who snarled back at him. He fiercely fought the giant minotaur. Nevertheless various monsters continuously interfered attacking him from all directions. The harpies swooped down from above and Superboy couldn’t help but feel as if they were taunting him. His powers hadn’t fully developed and he had no idea why. It was one of the key points that bothered him the most. Out of pure spite and rage Superboy momentarily abandoned his battle against the twenty foot Minotaur by jumping high into the air onto the back of a Harpy before ripping on it’s wings and jumping onto another sending the previous splattering against the ground below. This pattern continued until he was satisfied that there were practically no Harpies left in the sky. He jumped from the last Harpies back and landed on the Minotaurs head holding onto the bull horns, though he was quickly wagged off. He was sent twenty feet from the air to the ground and slid across the ground, the ground coming up behind him. It didn’t hurt a bit, not with his Kryptonian powers. But it more pissed him off than anything else. Then as he wiped some dirt from his face the Minotaur’s foot came crashing down on top off him. He seemed to disappear under the foot however, a moment later he began pushing the foot up with his super strength. The Minotaur fought back trying to force the foot back down on top of him. Superboy finally lifted the foot off and grabbed the creatures heel and began to smash him against either side of him killing all monsters that came within twenty feet of him. “Stupid - over - grown - bull!” He viciously spat each time he smashed the monster on either side of him. The way he did it made him look suspiciously like a sixteen year old kryptonian version of Bam Bam from the Flintstones.
He went on like this for quite awhile though he still paid attention to the main battle against Medusa in case he was needed. It seemed that wasn’t the case though. So when he was finally done with the Minotaur, Superboy engaged in battle with a nine headed Hydra. The poison the Hydra’s breath didn’t effect him nor did their blood. He felt it was child’s play as he easily ripped each head of after a ten minute battle. His smug smile was quickly turned to a mixture of annoyance and anger as each stump where each head had been grew two more head for each he had destroyed. The heads snapped at him trying to attack him. Their razor sharp teeth broke easily against his skin and he didn’t feel a thing. Superboy screamed in frustration freezing the air that came out and the Hydra and a mass of other monsters that had joined in the assault. He panted catching his breath. He had never used the power to such a degree before as he stared over at the frozen fleet off monsters. He turned to check on the battle again. The Hulk was on the ground and Raven, though he didn’t know her name, looked as though she was healing him. But then a moment later Sinestro stopped her with his ring. He was surprised to say the least. He was half ready to blur over and attack him. Though his super hearing stopped him from marking him a traitor. He heard his defense only to see a moment later he was bitten in mid sentence before the Hulk attacked his own ally and then assaulted the giant Medusa strangling her until she was back to normal size. Then he turned his attention to Wonder Woman bellowing “HULK SMASH!” so loudly that it hurt his super hearing ears. Superboy gritted his teeth in pure anger before turning into a blur on black, red and dark blue before stopping and becoming completely visible in-between Wonder Woman and the Hulk as he caught the Hulk Smash attack in his hands holding it with all of his might. His own eyes were filled with so much rage and anger. Then he was slowly being pushed back. He pushed back against the green giant monster taking two steps forward. “I - will - not - be - beaten - by an - over - sized - green - glorified - ape!” His voice was strained by his attempts to hold back the Hulk with his kryptonian super strength. “If - I - can’t - beat - you - with - strength - I - will - beat - you - with - speed.” He loosened his grip between himself and the Hulk trying to hopefully knock him off balance a bit before he turned yet again into a blur his hands claped against the monsters. He seemed to blur into and out of reality like some kind of flicker as he used his full super strength and his full super speed in an attempt to push back the Hulk.

The Hulk continued charging at the Wonder woman, as the large Medusa was killed. He wasn't finished, because of the intensity of the adrenaline Bruce had released. The Wonder woman seemed to be a worthy opponent, one that didn't match the snake headed woman. Hulk loved a good fight, and if he could kill one god the other could sure as well perish. Before the Hulk could throw a large punch, a quick adolescent boy interfered. Both hands of Superboy, stopped the large attack. Roaring with large anger, the green monster continued to push the boy, until his feet were dug into dirt. The boy continued to resist with unbelievable power. The more steps the boy took, the more the Hulk started to slowly walk back. The amount of push the Hulk and Superboy asserted, had to have been around tens of thousands of pounds.
The Hulk roared so loud, the it could be heard for two square miles. He released the large fist, and asserted more amounts of pressure with a large shoulder. Hulk continued to push like a football player drove a tackling dumbie. The more pressure asserted, the more the Hulk's muscles bulged making him almost five times larger than the young adolescent. large twig sized veins bulged from the Hulk's head as he continued driving and driving, hoping he was getting somewhere. He angrily, started throwing multiple large punches. The punches resembled, a boxer going at a punching bag. "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHH!" yelled the Incredible Hulk.

Even as she tried to move, the Titan felt herself falling forwards as her body started to give way. Her throat felt raw from the screaming and she no longer had the energy to scream. Just to endure the pain. "BETTY!" The green creature had said a name and was reaching a hand out. Exhausted, pain filled eyes looked at the hand. The empath had no energy to take it. Then the pain was gone as she was blown out of the way and a breath of relief flooded out of Raven as the increasing pain stopped. Her body shook as she lay on the floor.
“That’ll have to be enough!” Raven didn't have the energy to look up at Sinestro but she could sense it was him by his emotional presence. “you’ll kill yourself! Are you insane?! That green monster’s not worth-“ Despite the pain, Raven raised her head, looking at Sinestro who had been bitten by one of the snakes. "Sines..." |
[/b] Raven said weakly. This didn't look good. The teenager had felt the venom from the creature and had no energy left to heal anyone. Then the green creature was back on his feet and attacked the snake or Sinestro. The Lantern went flying off and then the green thing left. There had been another strong emotional being fighting that Raven hadn't given much thought to but now, when she was almost completely unable to move under the pain she was slowly starting to expel, she remembered it. The presence was still there and so he must be alive. That was good. "HULK SMASH!" There was anger from the green creature and then the other person with wild emotions also felt anger. Already weakened, the battering of such a dreadful emotion was too much for Raven. "STOP YOUR ANGER!"[/b] Raven tried to scream although her voice was hoarse. There emotions seemed to be attacking her as much as they were attacking others. They needed to focus on the important things. Like saving people. Sinestro was down and all they could do was feel so much anger. If it got much worse her soul-self might come out again and in her weakened state, Raven did not want that. Slowly, she started to try and stand, wanting to find Sinestro and... what could she do? There was no way she could heal anyone. Her powers had been stretched to their limits and her body wanted to give up and collapse. And there was still so much anger around her. Again the Titan slumped to the floor. "Stop..."[/b] The teenager mumbled.[/style] tags:OPEN word count: ??? muse: Tokio Hotel notes: None Table Layout By BRY, 2012[/style][/td][/tr][/table][/center]

The strength the Hulk exerted was so much. Superboy had never battled with someone so strong. He might actually be stronger than himself. Than Superman. He didn't know how strong Superman was. Being that Superman would rather ignore him and go about his own business as if Superboy didn't exist rather than acknowlege him. But he couldn't admit it. He wouldn't even think it for more than a second. He was too stubborn and arrogant. He was the cloen of Superman. Now was the moment to prove that. So far it had been documentation and words. But now it was the moment where his actions would have to suffice. He had to live up to his namesake. Now was the moment where he proved he could be just as good as Superman. As the Hulk switched into a football rushing tackle stance and tried to push him back he switched his handling position. The Hulk was overcoming him with power. He had to think of something fast. He decided the best course of action was to jump up forcing the Hulk forward because of the speed and force he was using. "Hey," he yelled back to Wonder Woman, "Move!"
He heard the girl that had been fighting earlier. She was telling them to stop their anger. Of course, Superboy thought that she was asking them to stop fighting in her own different words. He din't know she was an empath. He couldn't jump to that conclusion from what he had been given. Just as he was about to pull off his stunt, the Hulk did something he wasn't expecting. He began to furiously punch at him. Superboy ducked and swerved still trying to hold back the Hulk with all of his might, but it was failing him. He couldn't do both. A punch hit him square in the gut he went flying backwards smashing through a wall an disappearing in the rubble. Now hurt. Pain seered all over his body. It wasn't the crash or the smash through the wall. Part of it had been the punch from the Hulk. Well, all of the physical pain was from that at least. But the emotional pain. He had failed. He couldn't prove he was better than Superman or even as good. He wanted to so badly. But he failed. Because the truth was he wasn't Superman. He was just a cheap knock off clone that Cadmus did a half ass job creating. No . . . Superboy couldn't have that. He couldn't. He couldn't fail. Failure was not an option. The rubble flew forward at the Hulk as he revealed himself throwing piece of rubble after piece of rubble at super speed at the Hulk. Then in the middle of the frenzy of the rubble fire he used his super strength to leap the height of a tall building, the sun was behind him as he hailed down from above his fist ready as he attempted to punch the green giant in the face from above using the sun as his cover.

Bruce's mindset was lost, beneath the anger of the Hulk's emotions. Nobody could help him, only until the adrenaline would decrease. Superboy didn't help the situation, because all it did was pump the Hulk up even more. He never backed down from a fight, not now not ever. As the Hulk continued to throw mad punches, a few were dodged leaving the last blow a success. The boy flew threw a building like a bullet, releasing large puffs of smoke from the debris that came crashing down. The hulking monster beat his chest multiple times, and charged at the boy wanting to beat him to a pulp. From out of nowhere, large pieces of rubble came crashing down upon him like fireballs. With a swing of a punch, a large piece of rubble shattered into hundreds of pieces. A much larger piece came crashing down upon the green monster, burying him under the large piece of wall. The hulk's anger grew at an all time high, making him punch his way through the debris.
As soon as the Hulk stood up, a large power bashed him across the jaw sending him flying through another badly damaged building. The badly damaged building's foundation became incinerated, causing the entire building come crashing down upon the street. Buried under the large amount of rubble, the Hulk tried hard in roaring, but couldn't. The amount of power exerted on his jaw, caused it to become dislocated. The Hulk slowly cracked his jaw, and began punching his way through the debris. The large green monster stood tall at 7 feet, looking for the source that had caused large amounts of damage upon him. The anger didn't let up, making the Hulk turn his attention to Superboy once more. The large monster sprinted at a taxi cab, and launched it at the young boy hoping it would make impact.

Wonder Woman suddenly regretted forcing Raven to revive the green monster. She was absolutely sapped. However, Diana secretly wanted Raven to know… that no matter what… you never… gave… up. No matter the circumstances, you had to drive through the desire to giveup and let your batteries recharge. Though she was only a teenaged girl whose frontal lobe probably hadn’t fully developed, as a hero, you had to realize you had to fight through any exhaustion for the sake of those you were protecting.
Her power had paid off, however. Her sacrifice had not been for nothing. Wonder Woman watched as Medusa forged her last stand and envenomed Sinestro. She only got one last fight out before the green monster ripped her head off in one fell swoop. Medusa was dead, and it was all thanks to those she considered allies.
Diana had no time to celebrate a merciless victory over the Gods’ powerhouse, for the monster that had hindered one of her greatest enemies started to attack her. A young boy with what seemed to be superhuman strength battled him back with a heroic fervor. This allowed the princess time to view Raven and Sinestro’s being.
Both were fervently knocked out, destroyed by the weight of the battle. Wonder Woman would not soon let her allies fall here—not yet. Her blue eyes were saddened by the sight of her friends, lying nearly lifeless near her. What they had sacrificed to save mutantkind was not fair. Diana hurdled towards the limp Raven. With an easy swoop, Wonder Woman scooped the girl in her gigantic arms like a rag doll and carried her over to Sinestro’s body.
All the while, her eyes were cast to the ensuing battle between the enraged green thing and the boy. Though she wanted to intervene… Sinestro and Raven were her closest allies and required likewise attention. Diana laid Raven by Sinestro and removed her Lasso of Truth from her waist.
Like a careful, coddling blanket, Wonder Woman maneuvered the lariat around Raven’s torso. There was no way Diana could heal Thaal; she had already tried that once already in the days before and it hadn’t worked due to a curse. Wonder Woman hoped for the sake of all that was good that her lariat would have the effective healing capacity to mend Raven’s broken power and body.
She cradled Raven in her arms like a baby as her eyes narrowed with concern. Her eyes began to well up as she felt hopeless; it wasn’t fair! It was SHE that was supposed to die by the Gods! It was SHE who was supposed to give her life to save mutantkind! Not these heroic saviors that happened upon the toiled scene…
Wonder Woman pressed Raven’s head close to her collarbone and wept, her tears soaking into Raven’s cloak.
“Please… please… not these innocent souls. No…” Wonder Woman moaned, her voice muffled by the teen’s attire.

[atrb=border,0,true][style=width:430; height:490; background-color:000000; padding:5; text-align:justify; font-family:verdana; font-size:11px; color:78747F; overflow:auto][style=float:left; margin-right:10px] Her energy was sapped and the negative emotions around her did the empath no good. Positive emotions helped the teenager to heal but the negative ones... They seemed to toy with her, clawing at her but beyond her reach. If she had more energy, the Titan would have probably sent her soul-self off to deal with the emotional beings. Separating them and maybe knocking them out if that would put a stop to the overwhelming feelings. But she was simply too weak to do anything but lie on the ground and hope that Medusa's minions were not at large and coming to finish her.
I need to take the emotions away... Raven thought exhaustively, well aware that she could not take on the anger around her - just as she couldn't send her soul-self out to deal with the situation. There was no space with the pressing pain to take on that anger. Already the pain caused the teenager's body to tremble. It was becoming harder and harder to remove the pain from her body. It was impossible to concentrate and so instead the pain she had taken continued to lash around her body. The Titan was barely aware of Wonder Woman's presence as the older woman scooped her up. Eyes closed, the teenager only became aware that she had been moved as the emotions from the two angry beings was not so close.
Mentally the Titan sighed as she was able to focus and start to dispel the pain from her body. It slowly started to disappear and soon her body was still despite the large amount of pain that remained. Then she became aware of Wonder Woman's emotions, her hopelessness... did the Justice League member feel guilt at the situation? Slowly Raven's eyes flickered open. “Please… please… not these innocent souls. No…” The teenager was barely aware of her surroundings, not able to feel the tears that Wonder Woman had wept or the lariat around her body. "Your emotions..." |
[/b] Raven muttered. "They are negative..."[/b] Wearily, Raven was starting to feel more aware of her situation and she glanced towards Sinestro. She still had not enough power to heal him and she knew of the curse and that it may still be in effect. Taking in a breath, Raven continued to dispel the pain from her body. "I will be fine in due time."[/b] The teenager said, although it didn't sound like that - her voice was still quiet and shaky. "I can still feel the anger from the green thing and the boy. It tears at my soul. So much wrath..."[/b] mumbled, her voice less than a whisper. Anger, wrath, rage; call it what you want, it was a deadly sin and not an emotion that Raven could easily deal with.[/style] tags:OPEN word count: ??? muse: Tokio Hotel notes: None Table Layout By BRY, 2012[/style][/td][/tr][/table][/center]
