Welcome
It all started when a crystal dropped into existence, punched a hole in time and space and landed into the lap of one the most insane men to ever walk the Earth.
At first, the clown didn't know what he had been gifted with, stuck in his cell in Arkham, staring at the reddish purple crystal laying innocently on the dirty stone floor.
And then the voices started, telling him of another universe, talking of power and chaos beyond what he could have ever dreamed.

Superboy felt his punch connect with the giant green monster's jaw. He watched him go flying through another building causing it to collapse on top of him. Superboy had a cocky, arrogant expression on his face rather than his usual stoic, deadpan facial expression. His improvisation had worked! He wasn't even thinking of the massive damage he had just caused by destroying a building by punching a giant green rage monster into it. No, he was too prideful at that moment. He was letting his arrogance get the better of him. He was so caught up in the moment it took him a moment to realize the Hulk was bashing his way out of the debris. Superboy narrowed his eyes at the beast. He didn't even wait for the green monster to make his move, he rushed forward and jumped into the air planning to barrage the green giant in a fury of super strength and super speed punches and kicks. Much to Superboy's dismay, this did not work as a giant yellow taxi cab was hurled at him. He did all he could as he half caught it and was half hit with it. The cab shot him back down to the ground fast and hard.
Superboy barely managed to stay on his feet though he did create a small crater in the earth with his landing due to not controlling super strength right. He was off balance for a moment but caught himself as he lifted the cab and hurled it towards the green giant with his super strength. He felt a feeling inside him as he did this. It wasn't anger. No. Anger was the only emotion he recognized. He didn't know this one. But he liked it. It was fun. He had never gotten to be able to go all out before. He had never gotten to use his full strength like he got to now. He remembered Supergirl's inquiry of whether he liked fighting or not. He hadn't known then. But now he knew. He did like fighting. But he liked it when he got to go all out. He wondered if he would be able to spar with Powergirl sometime. He knew that it'd be a downright miracle if Superman would ever let him spar with him. Hell it was a miracle to get more than two words out of the guy or get him to look in his eyes nevertheless get him spar.
Unfortunately this was only making him more arrogant and guaranteeing more destruction. But he could feel the anger lessening as he fought. Of course, he suspected it would return after the fight as it always did. He was too sure of himself though. He was sure he couldn't miss. He was sure that his attack would hit. It had too. After all, he was Superman's clone, right? He would win. He would prove himself. He felt pride in his namesake. Yet . . . for the first time he didn't feel so attached to it. Superman wasn't here. He wasn't helping. And no one else was fighting against the green giant. This was all him. It was his own doing. It wouldn't be just words and other people's actions anymore that made him prideful. It was going to be something he had done.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/bluemiddle.png] Vaguely, Sinestro could hear what was going on around him. Every now and again, the clash of battle made his ears twitch. A roar. A loud crash. Something shifting right beside him. Things were still going on, but what? His mind couldn’t make sense of everything. Flash images and sounds filtering through his mind, confusing him. Worrying him. He had just wanted a nice nap while the others took care of things. But… were things being taken care of? Did they still need his help? He wasn’t sure he had much left to give, but he was still a fighter. Maybe he had picked the wrong time for a nap.
Groaning, he struggled to open his eyes, blinking through a sea of foggy images and dark shadows. He felt sweat running over his body, and he knew he was fighting quite a bad fever. His body hurt- it felt like it was being broken down piece by piece. He couldn’t move. He could barely breathe.
It wouldn’t stop him.
Turning his head with some effort, he saw the movements next to him was the first mystery he would have solved. It wasn’t some monster sniffing around him from a free meal, but rather Wonder Woman, who had brought Raven closer to him and seemed to be trying to heal her. Or mourning her death. He could see she was holding the young girl, but his eyes weren’t producing a completely clear picture, making the details more difficult to pick up. She seemed so upset, the way her body cradled Raven’s. Was it too late? Was his young friend dead? Well that was perfect- he’d only gotten himself poisoned to save the damn woman.
No. No, it didn’t look like she was dead. She had started to move. Speak. He felt relief filter through him when he saw it, even if he couldn’t make out everything she had said with her muttering combining with the ringing in his ears. She was alive, and that was all that mattered.
He knew the fighting was probably rough on her, even if she wasn’t participating in it. He had known her long enough to understand portions of her power, and that she was an empathy. With that Hulk around, she probably wasn’t being left much room to heal herself decently. Even with Wonder Woman there to help her, he was concerned. Concerned enough to struggle with healing himself. No one else was going to be able to do it, he imagined. Nor would a great many want to. He was used to taking care of himself.
This just happened to be a bit… tougher than normal.
A pocket dimension opened beside him, the fallen lantern struggling to drag his hand across the ground to reach inside. His fingers crawled up the green lantern sitting inside, weakly grasping at the lantern handle inside. He just… needed the damn lantern. It felt like an eternity had passed in the few seconds it took to pull his lantern from the pocket dimension, leaving it to sit next to him. Gasping weakly, he watched it a moment, as though he had forgotten what to do with it. When was the last time he had spoken the oath? Did he even remember it?
“…. In brightest day, in blackest night… no evil shall escape… my sight… l-let those who worship evil’s might…. Beware my power… green…. Green lantern’s light….”
It was probably the wimpiest oath he’d ever heard, but it served its purpose, filling him with the power of will and charging his ring for him. It brought green light all over him, sparking harmlessly, but brilliantly, in all directions. Slowly, he brought himself to his feet, wobbling slightly as he did so.
While the ring would not cure him, he would at least be able to push aside the effects of the venom in his bloodstream. It was better than lying like a lump on the floor, unable to help anyone. Sighing softly, he looked over at Wonder Woman and Raven. With his eyes clearer, he could finally confirm that they were both, in fact, alive.
“We have to stop those two,” he mumbled weakly, “they will destroy everything in their path… and the emotions aren’t good for Raven.”

Every time Superboy resisted falling to the large monster, the Hulk grew much stronger. His anger continued to increase as the taxi barreled into the young boy, but happened to be caught weakly. The young boy of steel had guts, but he wasn't going to win this fight. The taxi continued to wobble, as the mere boy grabbed a better hold of it. Suddenly the taxi jetted at the large monster, but with quick reflexes the Hulk threw a large clenched fist, sending the taxi cab rolling across the pavement. He roared at the young boy as he began sprinting at the boy of steel.
When the Hulk was mere inches away from him, he snatched the super boy by the neck, slowly starting to squeeze tightly, "SQUEEEEZE!!" The Hulk's loud word echoed throughout the empty New York streets. The police had backed off and let the super heros deal with the Hulk. The large monster lifted Superboy slowly to face, causing the Hulk to throw a large green fist.

The emotional Wonder Woman thought it was the end of the road for Sinestro and Raven. When the young girl stirred in her arms, Diana hung on every word she spoke. Based on what was said, it was clear that Raven was still struggling to remain in this world. Even though the girl told her she would be fine in time, it wasn’t enough to make Wonder Woman feel better about her status.
Raven told her that she was struggling with the overload of emotions brought on by the two metahumans fighting barbarically to no good end. If it meant dismantling the both of them to heal Raven, the Amazon princess was going to do it. She let a haze of calm wash over her, so that Raven wouldn’t have to worry about Diana’s sadness as well. Her heart beat at a slower pace now. Thump. Thump. Thump. None of Wonder Woman’s melancholy would affect the teen.
The girl was still cradled in Diana’s arms with the healing Lasso of Truth tied around her. She gently set her on the pavement and looked to Sinestro’s ill form. Rather than seeing a lifeless body, Wonder Woman noted that he was arousing now and mumbling the Green Lantern oath. Though Diana wanted to be overcome with joy, she knew the sudden outcropping of emotion wouldn’t be good for the sick titan.
Sinestro mentioned that both of the purveyors of extra violence needed to be quelled. After all, the Gods had packed up their belongings with the defeat of Medusa and the sky was quiet. To cause further onslaught was a true sin.
“I agree with you, and I will be damned if I let two fighting fools deprive a girl of life,” Wonder Woman clucked, nodding at Sinestro, “especially after all that we just went through!”
Diana methodically stood to her feet. She surveyed the destructive scene and noticed that the green creature that had once been of help to the few superhero troops was not undoing the young male by tearing into his neck. There was never a good time for violence that led to death, but Diana was convinced that this creature needed to die. He was a clear nuisance that took on anything and everything.
Wonder Woman grabbed her fading sword and shield. She adjusted each item in her hands, making sure it could still withstand blows from the largest of foes. Her emotion was kept low for the sake of Raven. With a jumping start, Wonder Woman launched herself at the Hulk’s back. With her sword raised for impact, she hoped to create enough of an impact to at least the strong youngster go, but ultimately… she wanted this green creature DEAD.

However as a wave of calm came over Wonder Woman, Raven let out a steady breath. It was easier to focus with less emotions around her. The Titan only became aware that she was in Wonder Woman's arms when she was being set down on the pavement. It made no difference to the teenager. She was barely aware of the world around her. Just the emotions and the pain within her own body.
The anger of the battle were not the only emotions around. Raven was aware of the will coming from Sinestro as he spoke his oath. While the emotion was strong, Raven managed to put up with it. Will was not like anger. The latter was a deadly sin and those emotions were ones that Raven tried to actively avoid. “We have to stop those two,” Looking up at Sinestro, Raven found that some strength was returning to her. “they will destroy everything in their path… and the emotions aren’t good for Raven.” Indigo eyes tried to focus on Sinestro, Raven was sure that he had been bitten by the snake. She knew that pain, she felt it even now and yet he was up on his feet.
I need to rise. The girl thought, attempting to move but not getting very far on that front. Sinestro was up and the city was being destroyed, the teenager should be able to rise. “I agree with you, and I will be damned if I let two fighting fools deprive a girl of life,” Despite her weakness, Raven still wanted to try and accomplish something, everyone else seemed able. Besides, her life would be little compared to stopping the fighting and protecting the city. “especially after all that we just went through!” Again, Raven tried to pull herself up, still wrapped in the lariat.
"I can... ngh... help." |
[/b] Raven tried to protest although she was focused in dispelling the pain around her. Maybe she could absorb the anger into herself. Probably not all of it but if it was enough to get the fighting to calm down for even a minute... The teenager couldn't forget that the green creature with the anger had called out a name and held out a hand as she had healed him. Maybe it would be possible to communicate with it. But already Wonder Woman had left and Raven found herself still tied up. But she could still feel the emotions, she could try to take them onto herself from here. Or see if she could send out her soul-self to help. "I may be able to,"[/b] The Titan shuddered and then winced as the anger from the boy and green thing continued. "Take their anger... away. Just need to... prepare."[/b] The teenager said as she tried to struggle to her feet while dispelling the green monster's pain, determination flashed through the teenager although she quickly put the emotion away. Raven would not allow herself to feel, especially as she planned to take on the anger. If she could get more of the pain away, then it would be easier to absorb the anger. She just needed to be careful and only absorb some otherwise she may be the threat. But this time she would pay attention to her limits. [/style] tags:OPEN word count: ??? muse: Various notes: Enjoy! Superboy frowned as the taxi cab was easily punched aside like nothing. What should his next move be? He could try to attack the monsters legs. Or attempt to pin him down. Just as that happened he heard the words of the now standing green lantern, Sinestro, and Wonder Woman. Superboy was ready to yell at the both of them as anger surged through him like a burning fire. Two fighting fools? Maybe she hadn’t noticed she’d be squashed like a bug right now how he hadn’t gotten in the way of the giant green monster. It wasn’t like he had started this fight. He didn’t have a choice. However before he could do anything a large green fist clamped around his neck as the Hulk lifted him and bellowed the word ‘squeeze’ so loud that the attack hurt his ears more than his neck.
Superboy barred his teeth. He felt like gasping for air, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t breathe. He had to do something. He couldn’t let it beat him. He couldn’t lose. He couldn’t die. Not today. Superboy got a grip on the monsters hands as it strangled him and fiercely tried to pull the hands apart with all his might. Meanwhile he lifted his feet up as if he were in a sitting position in mid-air, before he rapidly began to pound his feet against the creature trying to escape as he watched the large creature’s other’s fist raise into the air to attack him. Superboy racked his mind at a million ideas per second. He opened his mouth as the Hulk’s fist began to come down at him and he tried to the best of his ability to blow. He was tying to freeze the air, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t breathe. It was useless. But he wasn't giving up. He would never give up! He rubbed his hand against the Hulk's hand that grabbed his neck at light speed in an attempt to cause so much friction it would burn him. Meanwhile he lifted his free hand over his head as the fist came down on his arm. He was trying to block the attack, but he knew he wouldn't be able to hold it for long. The air was slipping away along with his strength as he barely managed to keep the creatures punch at bay.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x126/Gotta_love_gits/Sinestro/random%20images/bluemiddle.png] Sinestro knew he didn’t have long. The poison was still working its way through his body, and though he had a great amount of will power keeping him on his feet, it was only a matter of time before even his might was not enough to withstand what his body was going through. The toxin was breaking his body down, and even if he didn’t like the idea it didn’t mean he could just will it away and be perfectly fine. Still, there was a job to be done. The green one and Superboy were beating the hell out of one another on the streets they had just saved, and Raven was still reeling from the swell of emotions.
He would have to suck it up a while longer.
Wonder Woman was quick to agree with him, and launched herself into the fray. Sinestro, however, frowned, pulling back a moment to watch the fight continue. It seemed like they would be fighting for quite some time at this rate. The green man seemed damn near impossible to calm, and even harder to keep down for very long. He was sure it would be a struggle to get any kind of lull in the battle, especially if the answer was leaping in and fighting him as well. The Green Lantern had to wonder if there was a way to stop the monster that didn’t involve pissing him off further. He hardly seemed the type to sit and have a nice chat with anyone. The lantern looked at his ring, frowning.
Maybe his ring could help out a bit. But first, he needed to help Raven. She wanted to help. To take away the anger. While it would have been a great idea any other time, Sinestro was not comfortable letting her do it while she was in her current condition. It still seemed like she was far too weak. “No, Raven,” he pretty much ordered as he put his hands on her shoulders, “it’s too dangerous for you to get involved right now. You need more time to recover your strength.” He picked her up at that, moving back from the fight zone some distance before setting her down again. “You stay and recover,” he told her, using the sleeve of his uniform to wipe away sweat that was dripping into his eyes, “leave this to us.” With that, he moved back to the fight zone, putting up a large dome of a barrier around a good portion of the block. It would leave them some room to move around and avoid getting hulk-smashed, while at the same time hopefully provide some kind of filter that might lessen the impact of the negative emotions on Raven’s frame. It wasn’t meant to keep people out, though, and only those inside wouldn’t be able to escape it. Those outside would be able to slip through the semi-permeable light if they felt like getting trapped in a cage with a bunch of heavy weights.
Looking at the battle, the calculating Green Lantern frowned. It seemed like Hulk still had plenty of fire in him. He was choking the life out of Superboy, depriving him of air. Air…
Now there was an idea.
Sinestro used his ring to make airtanks and masks appear on Wonder Woman and Superboy, though with Hulk still holding him in a death lock he imagined it probably wouldn’t serve much purpose right away. Still. With them in place, the air inside the barrier he had created simply stopped existing, his ring removing all trace of oxygen. If the Hulk liked to choke people, maybe he would also like to know what it felt like. If nothing else, it might buy them some time. He only hoped he could keep the constructs up before the toxin got the better of him again and caused him to pass out. If he passed out before the green guy, well, he didn’t want to think about how pissed off he would have made the guy with his actions. If something happened to calm him down, he would return things to normal before the guy died.
Hopefully.
(If it's too god moddy or goes against any plans, let me know. xD I can change anything! That's the blessing and the curse of having such a powerful ring. X_x)

As the Hulk grabbed a hold of the small neck of the boy, he quickly tightened his grip. The amount of force the Hulk put into his squeeze could have completely crushed a car. He continued to grit his teeth as he watched the boy struggle hard in trying to get away. The boy lifted his feet, and began kicking at the Hulk's steel-hard six pack abs. This of course happened to have no effect on the large terrifying green monster. As he slowly lifted a large clenched fist, the boy squirmed more and more continuing to resist his demise. Any large point-blank blow from the Hulk, would've most certainly meant death for the receiving end.
The boy's breath blew at the fist, but only managed to dispense a large whirl of cold air making it no use. He also managed to rubbed the Hulk's fist quickly trying to produce friction, but this also had no effect on him. The large blow flew forward towards the boy, but his small arm had stopped the large powerful fist in mid-air. The Hulk's eyes widened with shock, but also with rage as he continued trying to force the large fist at the adolescent's face. The resisting arm of the boy felt as if it grew weaker and weaker, as the Hulk also continued to squeeze the life out of his neck with the other hand. As soon as Bruce was about to pound the life out of Superboy, a large sword entered deep inside the green monster's back.
The Hulk roared in pain, quickly releasing the grip from the boy's neck and trying to snag whatever had entered his back. The Hulk turned around quickly only to see the same woman he'd been fighting with earlier, Wonder Woman. The Hulk gritted his teeth at the woman. He slowly grabbed the handle of the sword that was still launched into his spine. He slowly pulled the sword from his back, releasing the sound of tearing tissue. As the sword fully came out, he tossed it aside like nothing had ever happened. The wound slowly began to regenerate back to normal, causing the Hulk to charge at the brunette with a large hulking fist.
Suddenly the Hulk sprinted faced first into the large force field Thaal Sinestro had created. He stood up quickly and started pounding the sides of the force field with large amounts of strength, but nothing fazed it. He continued pounding and pounding, running alongside the walls of the force field, trying to seek a rift in it. The Hulk suddenly stopped, and roared so loudly that it would've been heard for miles. He then quickly snatched a large thick piece of rubble, and launched it at the wall. It surprisingly had no effect. From out of nowhere the oxygen soon started to fade, causing the monster to grab a hold of his throat with both hands. The Hulk closed his large eyes, and roared loudly whilst his body yearned for oxygen. His roars grew louder, as he tried hard in gasping in as much air as possible.
The helpless Hulk fell to his knees continuing to roar. With one last stand, the monster threw a large shoulder at the force field, but collapsed to the ground soon after. He looked up into the sky panting heavily, also at the same time seeing a vision of his love, Betty Ross. Betty looked down at the Hulk, "Come back to me Bruce... You have to come back to me" she'd spoken. The Hulk slowly closed his eyes, but started getting smaller and smaller. The green skin tone immediately faded, bringing Doctor Bruce Banner back to his original self. The thin and pale scientist continued to lay on the ground naked and unconscious.

Wonder Woman was happy to find that her blows at least got the monster’s attention from the adolescent hero. He tossed aside her sword like nothing had even happened. It would take more than steel to destroy this one. As Diana was thinking about her next line of attack, Sinestro was using his ring in a tactical format. The green thing was pressed into a force field-like barrier and by the growls and moans terrifyingly erupting from its throat, Wonder Woman assumed there was an extra force in there helping to de-power the abnormality.
Within a few minutes, a strange thing happened. The green beast was replaced by a small visage of a tiny, average man. The surprise of seeing a man appear in the monster’s place made Wonder Woman’s jaw drop. A million rampant thoughts danced through her now racing brain; the green thing was this man’s alternate form?
Diana was at a loss for words, what could be said at such an uncommon sight? It had been a long time since Diana had dealt with such a fiend. Her blue eyes turned to look at Sinestro, gauging his reaction to see if he was as shocked as she was. She turned back to the morphed creature and started to carefully and cautiously walk to the naked man’s position.
Her muscles were tense; they were dense with an oncoming fear. She was ready to strike if the man decided to change back to his bestial form. Wonder Woman stopped at the force field and nodded to Sinestro, telling him to remove it so she could check on the barren human’s form.

The Titan was beginning to realise this as she continued to struggle to stand up and help. “No, Raven,” Indigo eyes flickered up, trying to focus on Sinestro. He was feeling the emotion of will and it was almost blinding. “it’s too dangerous for you to get involved right now. You need more time to recover your strength.” "You are more injured than I am!" |
[/b] Raven tried to protest but she was soon being moved away from the scene. Unable to deny it, Raven did find the larger distance from the battle pleasant and her muscles relaxed. The teenager had not even been aware that she had tensed. “You stay and recover,” Giving in, the Titan nodded slightly, half closing her eyes as she found it easier to relax. “leave this to us.”"Just don't die."[/b] She mumbled as she went into a meditative state. With that done (something she could not have managed nearer the fighting), Raven was able to remove the pain with a lot more ease. It took its time but eventually Raven found herself free of the pain that she had absorbed and the small injuries she had received already on the way to completely healing. Unable to hear anything, Raven sent out her senses towards them but found her senses partially blocked. Sitting up, Raven decided to attempt to teleport to the scene. Her power was feeling stronger and if they needed her... Superboy was having trouble believing that his attempts weren’t working. The green behemoth seemed unfazed by his feeble attempts to break free of his grip. He could feel the cold air he blew out, though he knew it wasn’t doing anything. His feet which were pounding against the monster didn’t even seem to sting him and his friction-burning plan seemed to have failed. He couldn’t hold the fist up anymore. It was too much and he was out of air. Just as the fist was about to hit him however, the Hulk roared out in pain abandoned Superboy. Superboy was dropped and he slid across the ground and rolled over twice landing on face against the pavement. He felt the air rush back into him as he laid there for a moment just breathing. He was relieved. But he was also disappointed. He hadn’t been able to take on the monstrous green being. He couldn’t help but wonder if Superman could have done better. He thought Superman might’ve shot some lasers out of his eyes and picked the green creature up and dropped him into the Hudson River. Unfortunately, Superboy couldn’t fly or shoot lasers out of his eyes. To say he was disappointed in himself was the least.
He looked over towards the green creature as he watched it attempting to rip out a sword from its back. Superboy coughed as his eyes moved over to Wonder Woman whom had launched the attack on the green beast. Superboy began to pushed himself up with his right hand as his left hand clenched into a fist. He had to do something. Anything. He couldn’t just lay there. He couldn’t accept defeat and he couldn’t give up. He wasn’t done yet, no, Superboy was much too stubborn to quit or die. He began to devise a plan. One that he should have tried from the beginning. He was going to use his super breath to freeze the Hulk. However, as he began pushing himself up more he noticed a green forcefield beginning to surround them. As he pushed himself to his feet his eyes went to the green lantern casting it. It seemed from the way the Hulk was acting he couldn’t breathe. But it was strange. He could breathe just fine, and thank krypton for that. It seemed Wonder Woman was having no trouble either. He watched as the beast slowly began to shrink smaller and smaller until he was a naked man lying on the ground. Superboy moved closer as he rotated each of his arms once each. He was hit bad. He’d be lying if he said it didn’t hurt. Superboy was surprised that the man in front of him could turn into that giant green monster he had been fighting moments before. Superboy rubbed his neck as he looked down at the man.

As long as possible. Coughing, he took a moment to hack up something that had caught itself in the back of his throat. Hey, no better time than when someone was raging inside a barrier and you only had to wait, right? Pulling his hand away, he observed the purple blood there, frowning to himself. Maybe his insides were actually melting- it certainly felt like they were.
As the green man beat against the barrier less and less, Sinestro knew his plan was working. The lack of air was ensuring the monster lost all his energy. Once he was unconscious, Sinestro imagine it was going to give them all a bit of a well-deserved break. However, he hadn’t been anticipating another puzzle. He watched at the creature didn’t just pass out, but actually changed form as well. He became just an average-looking human. Frowning, Sinestro lowered his barrier and got rid of his constructs, so the team could move around again as they pleased. It would also keep the human from dying from the lack of air.
He floated himself closer, coming to stand next to the unwilling nudist. While his face didn’t show it, was he quite surprised by what he was seeing- as much as Wonder Woman seemed to be. When she looked at him, he offered a confused shrug of his shoulders, before letting his yellow eyes return to the human. His ring scanned the unconscious man, but there didn’t seem to be anything particularly out of the ordinary beyond peculiar readings of gamma radiation.
They had themselves a small mystery.
Kneeling, he checked the man’s pulse, making sure he hadn’t left him without oxygen for too long. But it seemed the man was in good condition, save for the out cold thing. It was actually kind of remarkable. All the damage the green version of this man had taken, and it looked like none of it remained. Was this guy some kind of immortal? Did the radiation he was reading have something to do with it? Was he a good guy, or a villain? There were plenty of questions he found himself wanting to ask the man, and no room to actually ask any of it. His head was hurting – it seemed like everything was spinning around him. Hell, it wasn’t just his head. Everything was pulsing with a strong, relentless pain.
Keeping a straight face, he looked at Superboy, who looked a little battered for a kryptonian. He wasn’t surprised- the green brute seemed extremely strong. Even a clone of superman had trouble with the likes of him.
Just fascinating.
He looked back at the man, sighing faintly. “It looks like the human will be fine,” he said, “though I’m not sure what you want to do with him. He is far too dangerous to simply leave here.”
When Raven joined them, Sinestro looked at her. Both of her, since his vision seemed to have trouble producing only one Raven to look at. “Are you feeling better?” he asked, though he supposed she must have been. She was with them, after all, and she looked much less like she was knocking on death’s door. How much did he look the same? He imagined he was far from his usual color at that point.

Theutter destruction of a large portion of the city was chaos. Multiple buildings collapsed onto the crumbled New York streets, along with multiple cars turned upward and badly damaged. Bodies scattered the streets, mostly being of the mythical creatures. A few mutants also met their demise, but in the end it was the circle of life. The thin scientist continued to lie on the ground unconsciously, but within thirty seconds, the weak man quickly came to his senses. His eyes flickered open, quickly causing him to sit up. He looked around at his surroundings and saw the destruction of the city. Was the Hulk to blame for all this? Bruce rubbed his eyes, to see if he wasn't imagining the sight of the damage.
"Oh No..." mumbled Bruce as he continued looking around, still sitting up. As soon as the scientist noticed the beings that surrounded him, he quickly stood up backing into a car in fear. "Wha...Who are you people?" asked Bruce as he kept his arms up blocking his face from any hostile attacks. He kept his attention on Sinestro, because of the way the man looked. He had to have been one of the mythical creatures that had attacked him, before he turned. "Stay away from me, the lot of you!" yelled Bruce as he was now laying down on the hood of the car still trying to back away.
He quickly snatched his nearby enlarged shorts and covered himself. The fear in Bruce's eyes could have been read easily. It had been hours since the blind rage of the Hulk had been revealed, but now that his fear was spurting wouldn't bring the Hulk out for a longer period of time. The adrenaline had already been used, so it would've taken longer before the Hulk would come out to play again

The four heroes standing together must have been an overwhelming sight for someone just out of a green comatose state. The eyes of the man embarked on true fear as he flooded with emotions. Grumbling, mumbling, and bumbling, the transformer took his pants and tried to cover his exposed flesh. Wonder Woman stared simply at him, letting the male retrieve parts of his sanity.
Diana wanted to be the peacekeeper here. Raven didn’t seem in proper form and Sinestro still needed a break. And the boy that had tried to beat the monster? Well, there was no telling what he wanted to say to the man. Wonder Woman stepped forward, her infamous costume now covered with dirt, muck, blood, and saliva. Though she had been through hell and back, she remained poised, her almond eyes careful with her approach.
“We mean you no harm any longer. I am Wonder Woman,” Diana pressed her hand to her chest, “by me is Raven and Sinestro. We are only heroes with no further intent to cause you violence. Do you have any recollection of what happened?”
Her voice was cool and ambrosial. If there was one thing she could do well, it was calm down tempers. After all, you didn’t spend years of time in between Batman and Superman verbally fighting without learning a thing or two about interpersonal relationships. Honestly, the ambassador was just as scared as the flustered metamorpher. She was going in talking to someone that had helped level a main part of New York City.
Wonder Woman wondered what acted as his trigger. For her friend, Billy Batson, it was the screaming of SHAZAM to turn him into a god-like figure. Could the same be said for this naked manifest or was it something far more sinister?

Just a man with a lack of clothing and the Titan quickly averted her gaze. Looking at Sinestro, the teenager noticed that he looked a lot worse than he had earlier. “Are you feeling better?” Raven gave a small nod. "I have dispelled all the pain that was within me. But you do no look better." |
[/b] Raven commented as she moved forwards, regarding Sinestro's appearance. It definitely appeared that he had taken a turn for the worse. Lightly, Raven placed a hand on Sinestro's arm, checking to see if the curse was still in effect. She was unable to remove any of the pain. "Thought it was worth checking to see if the curse was still on you."[/b] She said lightly as she withdrew her hand. To be fair the teenager did not want to go through the pain all over again but she had wondered if she would be able to take on at least some of the pain. "Oh No..." Turning her attention to the man, Raven's indigo eyes regarded him as she tried to figure out where he came from and where the green creature had gone. The person was feeling fear and now being free from the pain she had taken on, Raven used her powers to lessen it. He did not seem like a threat and it was not a pleasant emotion to be around. "Wha...Who are you people?" As she took on the fear, the teenager frowned, realising that the emotions was from a source very similar to the pain that she had taken from the green beast. Where they the same? "Stay away from me, the lot of you!"Decidedly, Raven chose to remove as much of the fear within the man as possible. It would not do any good. It wasn't pleasant to take on emotions after just dealing with the pain but Raven was used to having to deal with tough situations. Although Raven decided that she would not take on any more emotions unless absolutely needed. And after this she would spend time far away from emotions in further meditation. “We mean you no harm any longer. I am Wonder Woman,by me is Raven and Sinestro. We are only heroes with no further intent to cause you violence. Do you have any recollection of what happened?”As her name was said, Raven gave a nod as she looked towards the man. Then she directed her attention to the angry boy and Sinestro. Already she knew that the Lantern was suffering and needed some help. Checking on the anger filled boy, Raven's indigo eyes flickered over his form. He appeared fine. "We may need a doctor."[/b] She said softly, wondering if Sinestro's daughter would be able to heal him or if they needed someone closer to help the alien.[/style] tags:OPEN word count: ??? muse: Within Temptation notes:None.
